I love Britney Spears but it's true that she's no longer one of the bigg'ns :(

Edited by Slowpoke

Well, seeing as though she's on the Rihanna song you could argue she's up there :P

Shame TTWE is falling on iTunes now though after it started to rise for a couple of days after the video came out :(

Suppose and it is a shame indeed!

I love Britney a lot but the lack of interest she's showing this era is effectively killing her career...

CBA WITH AN ARGUMENT BTW BRIT LOONS JUST VOICING MY OPINION

Has Madonna even done anything since like 2009? Is she making another album? This year could potentially be very female-dominated (moreso than even 2009).

yeah i will admit that. like Xtina shes out the picture now and was one of the top girls once

No madonna and britney arent up there with those ladies right now.

The 4 biggie's are Gaga, Rihanna, Beyonce & Katy no doubt. (Taking in to account worldwide success, they are the dominant four females in the music industry at the present)

At the risk of starting another argument with MrLovett Beyoncé isn't really one of the biggest females in pop *right now*, she's been a bit MIA since around early 2010 (Telephone aside). If you were to add a fourth name to that list I'd say Ke$ha.

Not counting Adele who is also a huge female pop artist but makes very, well, different music to Rihanna, GaGa and Katy.

I wouldn't say Ke$ha personally, 'Blow' isn't up to much. Her only big hit in the last year is 'We R Who We R' and that wasn't a WW smash...

That's why I said 'if you were to add a fourth name to the list'. I'd personally just leave it as 'GaGa, Katy and Rihanna are the three biggest females in pop right now'. :P

No, i'd definitely include Beyonce in that list, she may not have released material since I Am Sasha.. but she is still in the top 4 biggest females in the music industry now. Just her name alone, cant doubt she's one of the biggest female artists of all time let alone right now.

Kesha  No where close! Even if we were going to add a 4th she wouldnt be there, now, with material out, it'd probably be Adele  in that case.

Adele  But not in that top 4, those top 4 are there because of at least two huge albums (GaGa's Fame Monster too :P even though extended first album - and we all know how big album #2 will be), and at least 6 huge singles at the least, WW.

I see where you're coming from though, in relation to material out NOW, it'd be Perry, Ri and Ga.

I agree with Bray. When I think of the world's biggest pop stars, I think of Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Rihanna, not Beyonce.

Although obviously in 6 months time Beyonce could be one of them again, if her album is very successful.

But she's not up there with GaGa and Rihanna in terms of right at this very moment because she hasn't released anything for ages. By that logic you could also include Madonna.

Yeah, Bray i see where you're coming from definitely, with material out now, it'd be the top 3 ladies. Beyonce will soon have her song out though, and probably will be a huge hit, so we'll be able to ammend it to top 4 again in that case then
If Lady GaGa had had a full 7 days as sales surely she would smash the first-week record?

I agree on Gaga, Katy and RiRi  Coincidentally my 3 most looned over artists :kink: Sadly, my other looning recipient Carrie Underwood isn't likely to join them :( I would like Beyonce up there too by the end of 2011  And Madonna when she eventually gets off her ass and finishes an album! Preferably one in the vain on Confessions On A Dancefloor not Hard Candy!

Madonna can sell a stadium anywhere in the planet, her albums ALWAYS cause huge interest, not to mention all those ladies wouldn't EXIST if it wasn't for her. So yeah, she's definitely up there.

Seeing how Beyoncé is an album seller -- which neither Katy or Rihanna are (Rihanna is in the UK but not in the US etc) -- in addition to a single seller, she's also undisputedly one of the biggest imo. Bigger than Katy and Rihanna.

This is how Judas' popbars would have to look like for No.1:

And this is how it looks:

she will be lucky if she debuts in top 3.
