WHOA Dia is doing really well in such a short space of time!
Oh, I thought we were free of this The Voice rubbish :( Please tell me that was the final

Edited by Bré

I think the final of The Voice is tonight, so kind of
LMFAO are #3 on the digital chart with 212k, Adele holding at #5 with 170k - hopefully Adele's airplay lead can net her an eighth week at #1 on the BBH100. (Katy Perry has a second week at digital #1 with Maroon 5 at #2)
Yes, last night was The Voice's final performance show, results tonight as far as I'm aware. I think two of them (possibly more) are original songs, so will need to check them out.

Oh, Pitbull is #1 on the Hot 100 :o Those daily airplay updates either aren't accurate or use a different measure of airplay to the one Billboard uses then...

The stale as ever top 10:

1 Pitbull feat. Ne-Yo, Afrojack and Nayer - Give Me Everything

2 Adele - Rolling In The Deep

3 LMFAO feat. Lauren Bennett and GoonRock - Party Rock Anthem

4 Katy Perry - Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)

5 Nicki Minaj - Super Bass

6 Lady GaGa - The Edge Of Glory

7 Katy Perry feat. Kanye West - E.T.

8 Maroon 5 feat. Christina Aguilera - Moves Like Jagger

9 Bruno Mars - The Lazy Song

10 Lil Wayne - How To Love

E.T. and The Lazy Song seriously need to clear off (Rolling In The Deep as well really, but I don't mind it staying up high :kink:). Good to see Maroon 5 and Lil Wayne clearing out BEP and Lupe in terms of freshness but really I'd rather Lupe stay in over M5 getting there.

EDIT: Oh, it was Jason that dropped out, not BEP. That's better I guess.

What the hell, how did Pitbull get #1 with just a little more downloads on iTunes compared to Adele, yet Adele has more audiences in airplay? Makes NO sense....

As I say, the 'Daily Airplay Updates' thread definitely doesn't track airplay the same way Billboard do.

Pitbull sold 187k and Adele sold 170k, so Pitbull had a 17-point lead there.

Adele had 158m AI, Pitbull had 147m, so Adele had an 11-point lead there.

Overall Pitbull has a 6-point lead (and Adele clearly doesn't have a 6-point lead over Pitbull with streaming)

Well the audience impressions match the Billboard report though..

No they don't? The thread has Adele on 167m and Pitbull on 139m. If those were real Adele would have an 11-point lead over Pitbull (not factoring in unknown streaming).

Yes they do, Billboard report reports that Pitbull had a 140m audience figure which is close enough to what the figures Nick gave in the other thread.

No, the Billboard report says he has 147m, as per my other post explaining how Pitbull is #1...

"Give" dips by 7% in digital sales to 187,000 downloads sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan, dropping 3-4 on Digital Songs. On Radio Songs, however, the track holds at No. 2 with a 6% uptick to 147 million in all-format audience, according to Nielsen BDS.

Bray,

Billboard uses BDS for the Hot 100 airplay component.

Mediabase is tracked by many forums as a guide as to what is 'likely' to be #1 when they add the digital sales and Mediabase airplay points together, and most of the time, they're right.

But when the points totals are close, then streaming, physical CD sales and latin airplay (which I believe aren't included in the daily Mediabase totals) all come into play.

Hence Pitbull at #1.

LEONA LEWIS - I GOT YOU #100 :w00t:

 #99

Due to So You Think You Can Dance. :D
