April 14, 201114 yr Entering Serebro seems so ODD and out of place for me now. :o But i love my 5th place :kink:
April 14, 201114 yr Entering Serebro seems so ODD and out of place for me now. :o But i love my 5th place :kink: My tastes are just as trashy as they ever were, I mean I sent Smack Me exactly three years ago  I like a bit of trash (although compared to that, Strawberry Shake isn't particularly trashy) to contrast what was a surprisingly respectable entry/sound for me last month from Lykke Li. Just as you're contrasting your pop ANTHEM last month with this 'song' this month!
April 14, 201114 yr Author Crystal Castles was gorgeous! But yes, Variation of Birds is possibly the second worst song of all time, behind only Probka.
April 14, 201114 yr Crystal Castles was gorgeous! But yes, Variation of Birds is possibly the second worst song of all time, behind only Probka. I can't stand her voice :( The only time I've found them bearable (well great) is Not In Love  Probka the worst song of all time? That accolade goes to The Millennium Prayer for me :puke:
April 14, 201114 yr Author At least The Millennium Prayer has a decent melody, even if it is a terrible concept! Probka has nothing - gratingly annoying riff, terrible vocals, a complete mess structurally. There's simply nothing to like about it...
April 14, 201114 yr At least The Millennium Prayer has a decent melody, even if it is a terrible concept! Only because it nicked it from Auld Lang Syne! It's a horrible use of the melody done by one of the most insufferable singers to ever exist :drama: The production is so pompous as well, from the intro to the horrendous brass solo. Twinned with the fact that it became a huge selling #1 record, everything about the song and situation irritated me immensely. I'd never been so grateful to Westlife when they denied him the Christmas #1, even with their uninspired double a-side  (Back In My Life was ROBBED :snif:)

April 14, 201114 yr Pavel speaks the truth. :D **edited for extra effect You want to check out my new chart for a real ego boost!
April 14, 201114 yr Three great/amazing songs in this contest, and i didn't discover any of them via BJSC, that is a rarity :o
April 14, 201114 yr In terms of quality at the top end, it's been a long time since I've 'discovered' not one but TWO songs I like enough to chart in my personal chart top 20, and that's in Eurovision season too - very impressive! Quality below my top five/six was probably weaker than the last couple of months though.
April 14, 201114 yr You want to check out my new chart for a real ego boost! I will check out your chart right away. :o I might just need to change my signature - 'Riverside' needs to develope a far greater fan base. :D Having already peaked at #2 in Denmark, 'Riverside' now climbs to #7 in Wallonie following the tracks potentially massive success in the upcoming BJSC XXXIII grand final. :o
April 15, 201114 yr Are Gooddelta/Hits on about Gold Panda? If so, shame on you both for it is a wonderful track (I included it on the CD swap thing last year too). I'm sad I didn't get time to enter this now, although I have no idea what I could have used as my music library isn't really full of female vox.
April 15, 201114 yr Wow I was away for Tues/Wed/Thur so missed the results - I GOT THRUUUUU!!!! :w00t: Really cheered me up after a HAYUUGE arguement last night which left me more pissed off than ever in my life :( Really didn't expect to be through, so shocked I did! Lush to see Asa and Ola through too, didn't expect them through either! :D Thanks sooooo much to all who voted for Queen Jolin!!!

Oh no, I was referring to Marvin Priest 'Own This Club'. :P Yeah, the Gold Panda track just didn't appeal to me at all. It just sounds like a faulty track on a CD and the CD player skips its way through the track making everything sound "crushed". :( All you've got to do is think "Buzzjack" and you will uncover a true female vox gem. ;)
April 15, 201114 yr I didn't notice that Dandy's CD from the swap thing we did last year contained this track :o WHY DID YOU NOT ENTER BJSC THIS MONTH?!? Edited April 15, 201114 yr by PΛVΣL
April 17, 201114 yr I shall be listening to the other contenders this afternoon/tomorrow (as I'm off work) so will be sending my final votes sometime tomorrow afternoon.
