I started watching this at season 1 with my gran and granddad, but kind of lost track near to the end of the season.

I may get the Season 1-2 box set, and continue on from there. Worth getting?

4.14 is now my favourite ever episode. It encapsulates everything that is SO SO GOOD about this show, it was funny, it was surprising, it was camp, it was dramatic and it was sad. LOVE Elsbeth so much, glad to see her having a more sizeable role and her face off/flirting with Kyle Mclachlan was absolutely hilarious, especially in the final scene with Eli and the wire, didn't expect that at all. It was nice to see Kalinda back to being Kalinda again too rather than all that SHIT with her SHIT husband.

Reading the reviews from last night - apparently it was one of the best episodes of the entire series, like you said.

I'm months behind!

I don't think it was quite up there with the final three episodes of S2 for me but otherwise it was fantastic.
The final few episode of S2 had an almighty emotional punch, the corridor scene™ is still among my very favourite scenes in any show ever but I think this episode was slightly better rounded. Plus it seems to have set in motion a lot of very interesting things.

Hmm, that episode wasn't quite as good but it was still better than almost ever other TV show right now. It's just SO FUNNY, I really hope we get lots more Elsbeth, though I'm not sure we will now that that whole thing seems to be over. Here little gave of 'musical co-conspirator (proper LOL moment)' with Call Me Jake was hilarious. Eli/Peter hugging was really nice, I really am rooting for him to be Governor now, Matty is just a big ol' DYKE with a bad hair cut.

Just reached the first appearance of THE JUDGE *.*

In my opinion she is probably the greatest guest star in US TV.

I'm now on season 2 and I had forgotten how much of an insufferable whiny cunt Cary was. Please tell me a season 4 storyline invokes him being hit by a train on the way to work.
He was actually working really well until episode 14 of S4, but the newly reborn whiny Cary has good reason to be as such this time.
Elsbeth Tascioni is probably my favourite guest star on this show, aside from the Judge of Life obviously!
Are you on S4 yet? Her flirting with Kyle ''call me Jake'' Mclachlan in the last 2 episodes was absolutely hilarious.

Elsbeth in the episode with the sports tribunal was giving me so much life. Season 4 has maintained the quality thus far (I'm about 3 episodes behind). My only complaint is yet another "somebody investigates Diane/Will/Eli for no real reason" type storyline, but they seem to come with the package.

I can see why you might think that (what with you being eternally wrong in your opinions) but this one seems to actually serve a pretty good purpose.
Not yet, on 314.

WHAT AN EPISODE *.*

Oh it does take a bit of a DIP for the first 5/6 episodes of S4 as a result of f***ING MARC WARREN but it passes pretty quickly.
