That's just imo of course. But I think that's largely to do with the fact that I love the music from one, and hate the music from the other, and I'm not gonna lie, I didn't really know Taylor Swift until like 2008/2009.

I think it is how simple the video is.

musically, I preferred Love Story to anything off Beyonce's last album bar Halo (I dunno, it was a guilty pleasure :( ) overall, I'd say Beyonce is a better artist though

I didn't like Beyonce's Sasha 'Era'... (I wish she could do sth like Dejavu, Naughty Girl or Check on it again)

As for the videos (TS vs B ) they are difficult to compare. Still TS's album was great and she was SO super-popular in US at the time (she still is) that I think she was the favourite to win it anyway. I think I like Taylor's video a bit more but none of the two was that great to be fair. (love story is x10 better than Single Ladies as a song though)

I certainly had no idea she had a new single coming out!

A bit late on this but what the hell! I'm not a big fan of Beyonce. Ones with a cross through them I have never heard, which is most of Beyonce's flops except Ego which I found on an MTV channel, the song's OK but my favourite has to be Single Ladies because it's the only big up-tempo one from this album and Halo which is a great ballad.

It's really annoying how Blow and Yeah Right are sticking around the 30-35 mark for ages :( I know both got as high as top 25 at one point, but it's so frustrating how they're stalling!
