Blow has kinda flopped then, and im guessing 21 will be the peak for TTWE

The remix featuring Ke$ha and Nicki Minaj could help it though.

Yes! Does anyone know if/when it's going to be released?

There is a countdown on all three of their websites which is due to end on Monday, but it's not been confirmed whether it will be a worldwide release yet or not.

Britney's really lost it, hasn't she?

Yeah, she does nothing for the UK anymore.

Run is back.

Yeah. She's only had two #1s in the US so far this year. :(

Only on a technicality. She should really only have 1. And the first one got to #1 due to super frontloaded fanbase buys and plummetted afterwards. And TTWE has peaked at number 8? Which isn't good. Not to mention her album hasn't done that well anywhere.

Oh yes :o It's actually pretty cool.

Well, her album got to #1 in the US too, which isn't bad. She was ahead of Adele's and Wiz Khalifa's albums, iirc.

Plus, TTWE has had a good chart run in the US.

And we say only on a "technicality". If they followed the rules of the UK chart, she wouldn't have got the #1, but it's not really a "technicality" in the US. That's how the charts always work. It's more a rare scenario, than anything. It's not really any different to how Kanye West got his #1 tbh.

When did Dirty Talk get on iTunes???? :o I love that song. I think it will be #1 (Hopefully). :(

Ahead of Adele several weeks into her chart run... and Adele has re-overtaken anyway. And Wiz Khalifa was never going to be an album seller.

Fair point about TTWE having a good chart run, I'll give you that one.

And yes it is different to how Kanye got #1 (I assume you mean E.T. here) because it was the Kanye version of E.T. that was actually being promoted. With S&M the sales from Britney's huge fanbase propelled the remix ahead of the original which had already been selling well for months which is hardly a surprise. And the remix is now already selling less than the original again. So because she jumped on the song and therefore sold an extra copy of it to all her fanbase, she deserves a credit despite the song only being a popular remix? I don't think so. But ah well, can't really argue with it, Billboard credit her as getting to #1 with it, so she got to #1 with it I guess. As much as I don't think she should be credited to it

But it was the remix that got it to #1 on the Hot 100. If the remix hadn't been released, I don't think 'S&M' would have got to #1.

Yeah, but you could also say Rihanna didn't deserve the #1 either, because she wouldn't have got it without Britney.

And Britney did very well to get a #1 album imo.

Britney's album sold more than EVERY SINGLE OTHER ALBUM IN EXISTANCE in that particular week. All those other classic albums that people could've bought that week, yet it was Britney's that sold the most. We can dilute that as much as we want, but I think it's an amazing success. Well done Britney. :)

What? There's literally THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of albums people could've bought. That week, Britney's album sold more than EVERY SINGLE ONE.

Every Michael Jackon album. Britney sold more. Every ABBA album. Britney sold more. Every Madonna album. Britney sold more. INCREDIBLE!

Yeah, S&M would never have got to #1 otherwize. Katy Perry was thrashing it before tbh.
