Loser Like Me doing well combined, I wish it was just the one version selling though cos then it'd have a better chance of going top 10 - "Total Eclipse of the Heart" did that and ended up going all the way up to #2. Plus, being an original song it'd get more casual sales and might stick around.

 

Also, would be great to see "Hell to The No" top 40. When was the last time Glee had three tracks in the official top 40?

How is RYG higher than Hell To The No? :( The RYG cover is an awful cover, sounds like the background Warblers are going 'Jenga jenga jenga' in the background :lol:

I've had a look on my spreadsheet and counting from W/E 23/01/2010 - 26/06/2010 and 22/01/2011 - 30/04/2011 (a total of 38 chart weeks) Glee have had:

 

4 top 40 entries Once

3 top 40 entries 5 times

2 top 40 entries 10 times

1 top 40 entry 15 times

No top 40 entries 7 times

 

All seven of the 'no top 40 entries' weeks are from 2011 and all 6 of the '3/4 top 40 entries' weeks were in 2010.

 

In case anyone's wondering when they had 4 that was the week Halo / Walking On Sunshine and It's My Life / Confessions Part II entered at #9 and #14 respectively while Don't Stop Believin' was still at #5 and Somebody To Love (Queen, not Justin Bieber obviously) was still at #33.

 

Also, AFAICT there's never been more than two songs from any one episode making the top 40 - all of the cases of 3 top 40 entries had DSB as one of them.

I agree. Gone is an amazing song, but Liv Tonight, somehow got to #27 (iirc) on iTunes, with no promo, so surely wouldn't that be a good single choice. :lol:
