May 2, 201114 yr I can't really complain about that top five; pretty much represensative of the 90s and has all genres covered (I'm not the biggest Common People fan... would've MUCH preferred Kylie but there you go, such an iconic track!).
May 2, 201114 yr 4/5 great songs in the top 5 (only Kylie aside tbh - shocker!). So pleased Common People won - it really was the best song of the 90s for me.
May 2, 201114 yr Pleased with the results overall....some fantastic songs from a great era! Cheers for the time you put in Daniel! :)
May 3, 201114 yr Oh, Pulp! :o I wasn't expecting this big of a win, I thought Madonna & Kylie would be top 2. So pleased Kylie placed higher than Madge. :cheer: Thanks for running this Daniel ^_^ Eighties now. YouTube will be my saviour. Only remember Rick Astley, Kylie and Jason Donovan hits from that era.
May 3, 201114 yr Great results with a brilliant top 2 (although I agree that Justified and Ancient is actually one of the weaker KLF singles and did place Trancentral higher in my individual vote). I guess Kylie's record was a big change for her at the time so not all that bothered about it making top 3. Really pleased Pulp's Common People is still hugely popular - that it was kept off the top by two actors singing a song that had been number one five years previously was one of the biggest injustices in chart history. Well done Daniel, now I'm looking forward to rating the number ones of the 80s - I've just sneak-peeked ahead to 1980, some absolute corkers in there from The Specials, Blondie, Odyssey, The Jam......tough choices ahead!
