Tell me darling, Katy Perry, Adele and Wino aside, how were all of THOSE artists doing with their last releases?

 

Listen DARLING, I like their music and not once have deluded myself that when one of my favorite artists flop, that it is actually a success like Britney fans are doing for FemmeDOM and Til the world ends. Most of them actually WRITE their own music, SING live, CARE about the people who buy their music and don't just rely on their image and name to sell records.

We're talking sales. Bionic debuted at #1 over here.. that hardly translated into a successful release though did it.

And femme fatale sold more then bionic by 6k in it's first week and it debuted at number 8. Though im not trying to deny she is underperforming in the UK.

Duffy's last attempt was a HUGE stinking flop. And what? I'm not going to delude myself that it wasn't :lol: :lol: Her career is in the $h!tter like Britney's.

She has some good songs, I listen to both her albums but that doesn't mean I have to lick her arse when she bombs like she did with her last attempt. The fact that she can actually sing and write her own material makes her albums more meaningful to listen to.

You don't seem like a troll but maybe I'm wrong. Anyways... It hasn't left the top ten in the US. Its actually is now increasing in sales every week since it's second week. It is also the third best selling album in the US this year among albums that have been released in 2011. It is definitely not under performing. The only place it has been underperforming is in the UK and maybe France. Just because she is selling consistently and not raping the charts does not mean she is a flop, may I remind you that the us and japan are the two biggest music industries in the world and it has been doing great in both.

What are her total album sales for this new album? 430K Ish? after this weeks update? After 2 singles. I guess the 3rd single will show us how the album will stand. Not bad that it is the 3rd best seller this year so far. Q1 is always a low selling period. bring on Christmas. She should have released it nearer the end of a year. I read this is her 2nd lowest opener in the states, after 2 singles being released as well. She would have performed better releasing it last Q4

I don't get your angriness and hate for Britney... If anyone had to complain about something, it should be the fans, for not getting lots of performances and such (yet again, how many performances of 'Born this way' did Lady Gaga make so far?).

 

I mean, 'Femme Fatale' is basically the best pop album of the year so far, so who cares if she's not setting the charts on fire all over the world? Especially as a hater, you should be happy with it.

 

The girl has become quite talentless and can't give a $h!t about her music, fine. The album is still brillantly produced, and I enjoy listening to it. We all know the "old Britney" will never be back, and we deal with it, it doesn't bother us half as much as it seems to bother you, and this is quite funny actually.

 

What I don't get is the point you're trying to make.

Her album isn't a huge seller? Yes, we know that.

She isn't 100% involved in her music career? Yes, we know that too.

So what's new?
