SFTTR is the most deserving number 1 on this year... I don't think it will get it after selling 2.5 million copies... bug again... she is this year superstar, here and in the US and all over the world with no doubt.

Just saw the Graham Norton performance and cried... I don't know what to do with her :( I can't believe she can sing this song live soooooooooooooooooo good... and this is the best track from a MASTERPIECE album.

I think she can.

Someone Like You has sold 700,000 and the album has sold 2,000,000 and that's #10 on iTunes. I'm sure SFTTR can get #1, as that's only sold like 30,000 so far, I'd guess. :)

Lazy Song performance on American Idol, may help a little as its shown on ITV2 but not sure of viewing figures, must be pretty decent to keep showing it every year.

Tbh i wouldnt put anything past Adele right now, shes unstoppable.

As for Judas, i dont think its going to do much, especially here in UK, Gaga is really slipping right now, hope she has better material on the album. I havent got a clue what she is saying through most of the song

Performance on Ellen (obviously doesnt impact UK itunes) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xbzmw3d11Pg

Maybe you right and she can... and SLY is already sold 800K... but if she can she will need a PROMO for this... BGT is gonna be OK I guess :) When it's officially out BTW? to radio and all this stuff...

Well, radio have been playing it since the day the album was released (probably why the song has always been top 300 on iTunes). I don't know when it'll get "sent" to radio though.

Weird as it may seem, Someone Like You just got released as a single. Usually they have over 2 month gaps between singles, so because of this, I'd expect Set Fire to the Rain to be released in like July? However, I think it might do an Airplanes and enter the top 40 like 10 weeks before its release date.

We wont see an official single release till beginning of June I predict for Set Fire To The Rain, really hope for a Video out in May! So curious about the vid!

I think we'll get a video for SFTTR earlier than it's released, because there's all the other countries in the world where it's the second single, so they'll need it before us.

Then a couple of months after that we should get a video for Someone Like You, when it gets released everywhere else.

Eric I doubt Someone Like You is going to get an official video release. Never really thought about it actually tbh.

SFTTR video will come in May I hope, maybe mid-May.

Why wouldn't it? It didn't get one in the UK because it didn't need one. As good as the song is, a music video will be very useful for when they release the song in Germany, Japan, Australia, US, etc. in a few months time. The UK is just one country, and Someone Like You will not be performed at the BRITs in every other country.

I agree, SFTTR is the best song on the album, hope it has an incredible video to make up for SLY not getting an official one.

Also hopefully Graham Norton does boost songs up significantly because Gaga will be on it on 13th May

Eric we dont even know if Someone Like You will get a worldwide release so i think you're jumping ahead a little. SLY got the best video it could have got I believe, which was the Brits performance vid, that vid I reckon is the best video they could have chosen. :) Set Fire To The Rain may be the next WW release. :w00t: #40!

I think SFTTR will certainly be the next release in most countries (it's already been released in a lot of them). It was supposed to be the 2nd single in the UK too, originally, wasn't it?

You're right. Someone Like You won't get a video if it's not released anywhere else. I hope it does get released though, I think it could do really well in the US, etc. They love that type of music.

Adele's single release schedules are so confusing. Only Nicki Minaj can beat her in that respect.

In other news, Tinie Tempah said he's postponed his next album until 2012! :o I'm not sure if I'm happy about this. Although it'll be good if that means he'll have time to release 4 pre-album singles again, so he can get more top 10 hits. I'm not fond of the prospect of him releasing one pre-album single and then having all his other singles stall at #11 on iTunes. :(

I really think/hope 'Dirty Talk' can build up hype and airplay now it's doing well and have good longevity in the chart. Really hope it peaks in the Top 10 at least! Such a perfect Summer anthem, despite being a year old.

I've interpreted this as Tinie Tempah not releasing new material until 2012 so that he actually has time to work on new material. Otherwise, his new album coming so soon after 'Disc-Overy' would probably be like Black Eyed Peas 'The Beginning' being released so soon after 'The E.N.D.' - what we got was what sounded like rejects from the first album put together and passed off as a new album which hasn't sold that much. You can't fool the public everytime. :P

I don't think 'Someone Like You' will have a worldwide release. I just can't see it.

Btw, am I the only one who thinks SLY is better than SFTTR? Maybe it hasn't fully grown on me yet but I just think SLY is superior.

I really can't wait until the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Leona Lewis, Jason DeRulo and Alexandra Burke impact the charts again.

Apparently, a preview of Jason's new single will premiere on May 9th.

Why do you always feature pictures of stereotypical angry black women on your posts-I do not get it.

Adele was amazing on Graham Norton it is easily her best song and hopefully she has lots more promotion.

Yeah. Either that, or he's doing better than he expected in the US, so wants to work on that more, or he's got some new producers wanting to make songs for him, or something.

I don't really mind, as long as this doesn't mean he takes a massive break between singles. I'm scared he'll suffer the same fate as Duffy, and everyone will forget about him. :( If he does have a 6 month break between singles, I at least hope one of his songs gets overused on the X Factor to remind everyone he exists.

Wiz Khalifa is coming to tour the UK soon, so perhaps that might be when Tinie premieres his new single? Here's hoping! :D

Well, it appears in all his posts because it's his signature?

The Boy Who Murdered Love should've been a massive top 10 hit imo. I guess it was on air, on sale, so it was never going to happen. :(

Of course I agree with this :(.
