I'm holding out that Quinn's plans involve murder.

This episode was good, Sue, Mercedes and of course Santana were fabulous but I felt the whole Jean's death was rushed. I thought we could have had a nice Sue/Jean moment before she died - maybe she could've got pnuemonia and Sue sat with her and she died in her arms. Almost too sad I know, but it would have been far more effective for me.

There was. "Prom Queen" was screened on May 23 and there was no episode on May 30, leaving two weeks between May 23 and June 6. :P

I cried so badly! :lol: :( It was a lovely episode though, Jane Lynch was fantastic! Mercedes' version of 'Try A Little Tenderness' was brilliant too. :wub:

I think that too, but then it would be more rushed if she died half-way through, having only half an episode to do the whole funeral thing. Could've dragged it out for two episodes, but no thanks, one was enough. I swear I'm not heartless, but I didn't find it all that emotional. A Sue/Jean moment could've helped that.

Is anyone else getting bored of Mercedes' solos? They're all starting to sound the same and I'm finding it really boring. :(

I was never a fan in the first place, but I'd always put that down to song choices. Much prefer her when singing with someone - The Boy Is Mine, Take Me Or Leave Me, River Deep Mountain High

 

edit: Hate On Me, now I really liked that. But I do prefer that song anyway.

Is anyone else getting bored of Mercedes' solos? They're all starting to sound the same and I'm finding it really boring. :(

I was thinking that. She's been getting less and less and when she does they're always boring :( TALT was good, but all her solos in Season 1 were AMAZING! She needs to do a proper R&B track again a la Bust Your Windows and Hate On Me. I think something by Fantasia would do wonders (preferably Bittersweet :heart:)
