May 3, 201114 yr I'm so pleased Blue are looking to chart rather highly with 'I Can'. I think its such a good song after not warming to it initially. There is definitely room in the charts for them imo.

They shouldn't really be posted in full, I've heard in the past OCC can close down certain sites if full mids are posted as they shouldn't be in the public domain. May 3, 201114 yr Hopefully the following will happen over night: Top 20 for David Guetta et. al Top 40 for Adele [sFTTR] Top 40 for Alexandra Stan [MS] Fleet Foxes to topple Adele at the summit of the albums chart, had no idea the band were so big in the UK - it'd be a weird but wonderful achievement for them to do what the likes of Beady Eye, Jessie J, Elbow, R.E.M., The Vaccines, Britney Spears and Katy B all failed to do.

Fleet Foxes, being a male guitarry type band, are naturally frontloaded now they have a fanbase. The only way is down from the first mids. They're likely to follow the fairly common pattern of 'slow burning, lower peaking début album being followed by short-lived higher peaking album that sells far less overall' which seems to affect many indie/rock bands. And there hasn't been any promo, not even much feedback from the official sites. Has it even premiered on the radio? It could do a decent total if it is a good one but it won't set the charts on fire while we still don't what it sounds like!

All songs are given to the radio or internet at least 2 weeks before for the obvious reason. In the low-sales environment it still doesn't ruin all their chances for no1, but not a no1 debut...
