May 6, 201114 yr If Morrissey was #1 last week with 120 physical sales and he's still #3 this week, I'd guess only Blue and Beady Eye even sold 3 figures this week :o Anyway, hopefully Loser Like Me will be out of the top 40 by Sunday. And I guess Daflonickettidaj have #1 in the bag, I expected them to be #2 on this chart but if it's #1 here that's a very good sign for Sunday. I haven't actually heard it but 3 weeks is quite enough for Lmfaurengoonobennettrock (doesn't work as well for that :P) Edited May 6, 201114 yr by Bray

May 6, 201114 yr The physical chart should obviously be the official chart, it's the only way we'd ever ensure we were sending a UK #1 to Eurovision
May 6, 201114 yr The physical chart should obviously be the official chart, it's the only way we'd ever ensure we were sending a UK #1 to Eurovision  But we'd have had Morrissey's Glamorous Glue at #1 for 2 weeks before it :drama:
May 6, 201114 yr Nicki Minaj will get her first real #1 single anywhere. :o I'd go as far as saying Nicki Minaj will get there first real #1 single everywhere. :P Ok, not technically but I reckon 'Where Them Girls At' is looking set to enter high in most European countries' charts next week. Is there a video for 'WTGA'? It's really taken off extremely fast for a track with very little radio airplay and no music channels plays.

Is there a video for 'WTGA'? It's really taken off extremely fast for a track with very little radio airplay and no music channels plays. But the UK will probably be the first country where WTGA is officially #1. So it being #1 here is Nicki's first #1 anywhere in the world. :P Edited May 6, 201114 yr by Bray
May 6, 201114 yr yeah i thought it was yet another album track from one love.doesnt sound great on first listen though compared to When love takes over and sexy chick, but maybe we are so used to his sound its no longer unique as the rest of the charts sounds like it now!!
May 8, 201114 yr Quick! Someone edit it before anyone notices! :o PMSL!! Finally, this has been revealed for the farce that it always was ... I'm just surprised that its taken so long, I concluded that approximately 18 months ago.
May 8, 201114 yr Author There's no need to be rude... Maybe this song was selling better on other sites. OK so it's probably a guesstimate, but this thread is definitely helpful on a Friday afternoon, until they start Saturday midweeks :kink: Anyway the sales could be very close in the top 3.
May 8, 201114 yr I have to say I thought on Friday it seeemed impossible that Guetta could already be Number 1 officially. In general though I'm always really impressed with how close this chart is to the real one allowing for Saturday sales. Something obviously went wrong there though. :o
May 8, 201114 yr You get a better idea of what the chart is going to be by just looking at the Friday midweeks. These "guesses" add nothing at all (except if there is a massive late in the week release, and even then "Born This Way" was massively mis-estimated).
May 8, 201114 yr The on-air, on-sale policy is going to make it more difficult to predict Sunday's chart. I've had to do a lot more reshuffling of my commentary since this policy started. Fortunately it's normally been to do with relative positions in the middle of the chart rather than the top of the chart as happened this week :drama:
