I think its a great song, shows a different side to Rihanna from her other three releases, she sounds great on the song, and I think this will help sell Loud even more! It hasnt left the top 10 since it was released way back in November? :o :yahoo: Also CKB is already #38 with a few days video play so its going to be a big I reckon.

Initially noone expected it but last couple of days it was a contender. If it was strong enough, it would have stayed there with a big lead to get the number 1 at the end of the week cause it's Ga Ga.

Personally though, I'm not really fond of California King Bed. It's not dreadful, but compared to Only Girl and What's My Name?, it's not total wow for me. :(

I'll have to check that out. For me it sounds most like My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson (in terms of the melody in the chours only, though).

 

I think it's very non-generic by Gaga's standards though.
