And I was considering the year-end top 10 as "mega-hits". Neither She Said nor Ridin' Solo were that big anyway.

She Said was 16th in the list of the year, I think that classes as a 'mega hit' personally

Take That are performing now. I can see it getting to #1 by midnight actually, despite being at #6, they arent THAT far away from it.
Firstly, I was talking about the top 5, so I wasn't considering She Said.

There were actually weeks where the whole top 4 ended up in the year-end top 10! :o

fair enough, I still remember the week where all time low got to number one, so many of the songs in the top 10 that week ended up in the end of year top 40, all time low, we no speak americano, airplanes, california gurls, billionaire, love the way you lie, pack up and club can't handle me. That's eight songs, wow!

Ridin' Solo was like 20th aswell, wasn't it?

I was just being really strict, and counting Only Girl, California Gurls, Love the Way You Lie, Pass Out, Airplanes, etc.

Okay. Only one of the top 5 was a "mega-mega-hit", but it was a great top 5 anyway! :D

If we're being more leniant then, I guess it had 2 mega-hits (OMG and Ridin' Solo).

Yeah, that week was AMAZING!!! I think that week One by Swedish House Mafia, I Need Air by Magnetic Man, and of course Billionaire and All Time Low got released!

That week actually had the highest selling #7 of the century, or something (I think)!! It was Swedish House Mafia and it sold more than some #1s did (like Gettin' Over You and Good Times in its 3rd week)! I hope we get charts like that this summer too.

Then as I said you have very high standards for being a 'mega hit' :P

What on EARTH are half of you considering hits to be if something like Ridin' Solo is a mega-hit? I'd consider a mega-hit to be something like Umbrella, Bad Romance et al - tracks that are literally inescapably huge and culturally dominant.

I remember, the flood managed to beat that total set by the Swedish House Mafia on the New year "itunes card effect" chart

 You're even stricter than me!!

But yeah, Ridin' Solo was a massive tune. It was definitely one of the most popular songs in my school in Winter 2009/2010. The version with a sample from Bittersweet Symphony leaked, and got insanely popular before a lot of people even knew of In My Head!

But yeah, I wouldn't have considered it a "mega-hit", but it was pretty huge, so I can see why people think that...

how far head is EOG on iTunes from the other songs? Also is this ONLY on iTunes or other download sites too? If it is only on iTunes wont that hirt its chances if going to #1 on the main chart Sun?

What is Glee Cast - Somewhere Only We Know combined?

they are #38 + #63 :)

Really hope it can chart, it was #40 in todays mids!

#26 combined. Around 19% of GaGa @ #1

Last nighted I posted California King Bed at #183 and said it would rapidly climb, I check tonight and its shot up to #4&!! :o :D Another hit on rihanna's hands, love the song.

Cant believe Gaga is #1 right now with Edge of Glory, where did that come from! I've heard it..first impressions..okay i guess.

Judas #10, addicted to it at the moment and my first impression of that was it was okay too!

Why has Take That got a new song out? (#3) Deluxe of progress or completely different?

Completely new, it is the theme tune to the new X-Men film. Is it at #3 already? I think it should hit #1 by midnight, rising very fast.

edit: already answered :P

anyway, TT could get to number 1 on Itunes shortly, as its extremely close at the top - probably not officially this week, but honestly I still have no idea what will atm
