The problem isn't 100% with promo.

UK Radio hasn't been WITH IT with Britney for years.

'Hold It Against Me' got playlisted, but they did just dump her after that pretty much.

'Hold It Against Me' got playlisted, but they did just dump her after that pretty much.

I mean Jive really messed up with the release of the first two singles, I mean, first they announce it not being released until later, and then (with no confirmation) they just put it on iTunes the WEEK after it's hype.

They had an opportunity to advertise it during her Glee and did nothing.

And "Till The World Ends" had such a messy release, and wasn't even released to radio.

They really did.

If 'HIAM' had been released the same day as it was everywhere else it would have gone top 3 guaranteed. To put an advertisement during glee that last 15 seconds would be INSTRUMENTAL if she isn't gone to promote until the tour.

TTWE should have come with at least one promo performance + Interview along with a sit down interview with radio one. = Top 10.

That alone would have gotten 'IWG' in the top 20 with the music video and being in radio one's good graces.

Considering the Radios and Music Channels have given up on Britney in the UK, (I still seen the new videos from the Femme Fatale era quite a bit actually on the music video channels) But the tabloids still love her. I don't get it :(

Edited by Jimmie

You see Jimmie this is what confuses me, even though she isn't front page news, Britney is always frequently featured in magazines. I mean I picked up Heat the other week and there was an article on her tour diet. She is still a media fascination, but this isn't resulting in her music.

I mean do people SERIOUSLY not know she has music out? Or are the fans of the music just illegally downloading it?

373 spins away from #1 now! At this rate, "I Wanna Go" will be her 6th #1 on Pop, hopefully by Sunday/Monday! As long as it can just not have any losses for just a couple more days!
