Just got round to listening to the tracks. 'As Long As You're There' is VERY Whitney Houston 'I Have Nothing'. No? It's alright, but New Directions songs are better (biased-ness aside). If Vocal Adrenaline beat them for a second year running, for their original song, I will be majorly pissed!
Yes that's Brittany.

I am going to spend the entirety of my 3 day visit to New York with that song on repeat, I just know it

You can watch it live. There is a link in a pinned topic :)

I've also now come to the conclusion that 'Light Up the World' is amazing. The iTunes version is phenomenal. Really love it.

I think 'I Love New York'/'New York, New York' is also one of my favourite mash-ups, too!

This is amazingly corny and cheesy at the moment. Everything you could want from a Glee episode!

Really good eposide despite not very much Sue.

I loved the Quinn scene and can't wait until we hear New Directions!

Rachel has came across really good this eposide.

Amazing episode, even if

I was disappointed that New Directions only came 12th!

'Pretending' and 'Light Up the World' took some growing, but they finally connected with me (properly).

This was Glee back at it's best, imo. Also, woo for Samcedes! About time Mercedes had someone to get with. The Quinn scenes were great too. Not to sound too biased or whatever, but Dianna really is a brilliant actress, imo. On the whole, everything about this episode

bar the outcome!

was really enjoyable and emotional. But it's just going to be same old, same old for Series 3.

Them fighting for Nationals etc. etc. bleh

Jesse was completely pointless in the end. Why did they bother bringing him back?

I have a burning urge to go to New York after the first half of that episode. I did think the resolution was JUST A BIT unrealistic as well. Overall I reckon they could've really stretched it into a two hour episode...

I think they should have got a top 10 placing... because next time we have like jonjo says the same thing repeating itself. Light Up The World is brilliant now though!

I agree. The last half all seemed rushed and really should have been at the very least an hour and a half long. I would have liked to have seen more of the aftermath too.

What they didn't get top ten?? :o

What a rip!!!

BAH! <_<

A really good episode and a great closer to the series

despite the ending.

Rachel and Kurt were brilliant together - and I usually dislike Kurt (which proves that Blaine drags him down). All the songs were really good - 'Light Up the World' was my favourite original song (I prefer it to 'Loser Like Me', although they are quite similar). 'I Love New York / New York, New York' was a fantastic mash-up and one of their best!

I was disappointed with Emma's five-second appearance at the end though, I was hoping they'd conclude/at least hint at the conclusion of her story with Will.

Great to see it got a 4.6 rating in the US following Idol, best rating since early March and it had constantly been below 4.0 since episode 17 I think.

I'm not going to personally use spoiler tag as if UK paced people don't want to know, they shouldn't be in here - I thought that was the rule.

A really good finale, great performances (including 'My Cup), wanting to live in New York now, and it felt different overall having the school almost taken away completely for

an episode. However, I am disappointed with the outcomes.

I think they were top 10 worthy, even with the kiss, but as they were walking upto the list I knew they wouldn't be on it. Though I don't know where season 3 would've gone had they already won Nationals. Mercedes/Sam seems like an odd pairing, but so did Brittany/Artie at first and that turned out to be brilliant. Happy with Finn/Rachel. However, there's no cliffhanger and I'm disappointed that Dave & Santana are both still in the closet - I hoped that at least one of them would've come out by the end of the season.

Anyone else a bit disappointed that we didn't get to see competition judges this time?

edit: There were a couple of great lines as usual, but Brittany wins it for this episode, near the end when she was wondering whether Mike & Tina's kids would come out Asian :D

Just watching this now. Seriously guys, Kurt and Rachel's friendship is epic.

What kind of bull was that. It was enjoyable but OH LORD. Do I really have to sit through ANOTHER year of them trying to get through to Nationals again? :| And also why wasnt the below "quit Glee club" scene aired:

I don't remember seeing it in the previous episode so I assumed it would be the cliffhanger for the season finale. Majorly disappointed.
