That's not the artwork, it's a placeholder image. http://hmv.com/hmvweb/displayProductDetails.do?sku=183576 Note how it says 'artwork tbc'
September 24, 201113 yr Note how it says 'artwork tbc' Note how Theo was having a joke. (Or at least I assume he was, the disco smilie makes it look that way)
September 24, 201113 yr I think it was Theo taking the piss out of the deluded fans who are like "OMG #JukeboxAlbumArtwork <33333333333333333' I kinda thought it was serious artwork though.
September 24, 201113 yr There's no Jukebox title on that 2 minute Paint job. And it looks like a placeholder, which fits with Bré's info. Besides, I'm properly predicting a cover of the 4 of them lounging around in a bar with a jukebox in the back. DON'T SHATTER MY DREAM!
October 26, 201113 yr Take A Chance On Me is actually QUITE GOOD. Not as dreary as their other two ballad singles. And I see the actual artwork for 'Jukebox' is now around. Hmm. Not as bad as the 'Outta This World' artwork I guess. Video for TACOM, in case anyone is havign a NERVOUS BREAKDOWN at it not having been posted in here yet: JIzw7BHmkN4 Edited October 26, 201113 yr by Bré
October 26, 201113 yr Aston massively took the lead in this song, I wonder if he'll attempt that note live on The X Factor next week. Its not a terrible song, less cheesy then Love You More. Another #1 on their hands!
October 26, 201113 yr The artwork for Jukebox was unveiled in September! I'm still not particularly liking 'Take A Chance On Me' - and the video is utterly dull. :( Edit: Just saw you included the video, ha.
October 26, 201113 yr The artwork for Jukebox was unveiled in September! Obviously not before Theo's original post (24th September) though :P This thread just died on its arse, I thought I'd revive it since these guys are still very much around. They're confirmed to be performing on the X Factor a week Sunday but we all knew that anyway. Edited October 26, 201113 yr by Bré
October 26, 201113 yr Their 6th #1 seems to be in the bag then! Though they do face big competition from Melanie C. ( :kink: )
October 26, 201113 yr The song's actually growing on me, although it's probably their most MOR release yet. I prefer it to most of their first and second singles, with this probably coming 2nd to 'Love You More' - although 'She Makes Me Wanna' isn't that bad to listen to, it's just painfully generic. I can't say I'm that bothered about whether it gets to #1 or not, but I can't see it sticking around that long.
October 26, 201113 yr i'd love to see them actually partake in a chart battle instead of taking the safe route every time. in the paper today it said that it was originally scheduled to be released on the same day as the one direction single and likewise the same album the week after..however jls asked to move it to avoid competition after they lost to take that last xmas. ironically i actually think jls would beat one direction to number 1 as it is a much better song but they clearly don't have confidence against other artists with equally big fanbases. i looked at wikipedia today and it said they have only sold 3 million records. that's pretty poor baring in mind they have had 5 number 1s and 2 top 2 albums. needless to say no one outside the uk and ireland know they exist lol
October 26, 201113 yr I know they're still awfullly successful, but they sound so "last decade" to me. Their music is still as awful as ever, I won't even comment their over the top look, and their bodybuilding obsession. I wish the wee girls were over them too, and I hope somehow The Wanted and One Direction can burry JLS for good. One can hope ...
October 27, 201113 yr Author Boring video. Colin Tilley obviously not involved in this one Song is decent, but I'll look forward to the next single.. Another One Shot or Eyes Wide Shut would be nice i'd love to see them actually partake in a chart battle instead of taking the safe route every time. in the paper today it said that it was originally scheduled to be released on the same day as the one direction single and likewise the same album the week after..however jls asked to move it to avoid competition after they lost to take that last xmas. ironically i actually think jls would beat one direction to number 1 as it is a much better song but they clearly don't have confidence against other artists with equally big fanbases. i looked at wikipedia today and it said they have only sold 3 million records. that's pretty poor baring in mind they have had 5 number 1s and 2 top 2 albums. needless to say no one outside the uk and ireland know they exist lol One Direction and JLS are both managed by Modest. There's no way their management would put them up against each other as they'd want Number 1's for both, so I doubt they were ever planning to release on the same week. Both likely to get X Factor slots too They've been up against Robbie Williams, Take That, Westlife etc.. so that's not really taking the safe route is it ? All have huge fanbases I doubt many artists would go and look at a release schedule and say "Oh let's try and compete with ..... just to reduce our chance of another Number 1"

All have huge fanbases I doubt many artists would go and look at a release schedule and say "Oh let's try and compete with ..... just to reduce our chance of another Number 1" they beat rob by less than 1% and that was mostly due to the fact that they had 4 different sleeves of albums with hundreds of fans for some reason wanting to collect them all. You can't contest that cos it has even been admitted by JLS themselves. I would hardly call Westlife a challenge, the sales of their records over the last 5 years have been abysmal hint why they are really splitting up. And Take That crucified them sales wise, second week sales of Progress beat them, and then every week up to Xmas Progress' sales increased dramatically whilst JLS' fell. and I see what u are saying and would have thought the same but it was clear as clear can be that JLS asked to move their album and single away from any serious competition.
October 29, 201113 yr Teach Me How To Dance: jcZ8p06Tw6s HOW INNOVATIVE. JLS turn a new corner in popular music *.* Lol jk, I don't mind it though.

JLS massively outsold Robbie overall though, even if they did only barely beat him to #1, which counts more. They spent 7 weeks over 100k which I believe tied the record at the time for consecutive weeks above 100k (which was later smashed by Adele ofc).

RKTVS sold 1.1million in the UK, JLS are 4x platinum so they are roughly at 1.2million going on that certificate (which is actually pretty good, didnt realise they sold that much to be fair). JLS didnt sell a single copy abroad whilst Robbie sold another million across Europe and Asia and looking at the tracklist there were rumours that rihanna had sung on a track and they were keeping it a secret and releasing it as a guaranteed seller for the third single but guess that was nonsense. cant blame her really as no one outside the uk knows of jls but it would be interesting to see how she would fit into a jls song
