August 19, 201113 yr Well I mean it's not like Adele is making non-commercial music either. I mean it's not Katy Perry Pop, but it's still very radio adaptable. No hate, I'm excited for what Kelly brings out. Her stronger material is when she isn't trying to reinvent her sound.
August 19, 201113 yr Yes, if you would care to actually read the posts of the last 1-2 pages you will see that nobody is denying that.
August 19, 201113 yr Yes, if you would care to actually read the posts of the last 1-2 pages you will see that nobody is denying that. How rude.....I was simply posting a pic of her.
August 19, 201113 yr Are we still going over this point-If the songs are good she will do well fat or thin, in Kellys case when has it ever mattered.
August 19, 201113 yr OH MY GOD YOU ARE SO FRUSTRATING. When has it ever mattered? Oh, I don't know, let me think. I wonder when she was at her biggest commercially? Yes, that would be when she was at her slimmest and was using her image as an attractive woman to help shift records! Bottom line is you are absolutely deluded if you believe image doesn't matter.
August 23, 201113 yr In mid-July, Kelly Clarkson returned from a vacation in Tahiti to discover that almost an album’s worth of her songs had leaked onto the Internet. Naturally, she was none too pleased. “Oh my God, have you ever been robbed? I have. I’ve been physically robbed a couple of times, but this is much worse,” Clarkson tells EW exclusively in her first public remarks about the incident. Clarkson says she has no clue how songs including “Let Me Down,” “Dumb + Dumb = U,” “Cleopatra,” “Don’t Be a Girl About It” ended up online. But once they did, fans, eager for new material from the singer, quickly snatched them up. Sure, the tunes were well-received, but there was a problem: They were old, and most of them weren’t even meant for her. “There are songs out there that are from eight or 10 years ago [from when Clarkson was recording her first album, Thankful.]… People are always asking me to write for other artists. They’re awesome songs, [but] they’re just not songs I would normally sing.” The singer was also concerned for her fans — and her image. “Those songs came out and people are like, “Oh my God, what direction is Kelly going?” she says. “I think what made me mad was that: 1) People stole from me, and 2): Everybody had no idea what my next album was going to sound like. That really caused a lot of confusion.” A couple of the leaked tunes (Clarkson won’t say which ones) will make it on to her fifth studio album, Stronger, which is schedule to drop Oct. 25. (Her lead single, “Mr. Know It All,” is scheduled to be released in early September.) “Here’s the best part though,” she promises fans. “Nothing that’s leaked is the final version. Those are all demos.” So while she’s excited for her next album, she admits that even she hasn’t heard the final version of the release. “I don’t even have it, by the way, because I’m so freaked out to put it on my computer,” she says. For more from Clarkson, including some scoop on Stronger, pick up the Sept. 2 issue of Entertainment Weekly on newsstands Friday. Looking good for 'What Doesn't Kill You'! Although I'm confident that Stronger is WDKY.
August 23, 201113 yr Any word on producers for the fifth record? Jason Halbert, Darkchild and Toby Gad have been mentioned and the new single was produced by Brian Kennedy and Dante Jones
August 23, 201113 yr I'm guessing 'What Doesn't Kill You' is on it, as it seems the album is titled after it.

August 24, 201113 yr Am I just being blind, or has it been taken down? No it was taken down strangely :S Here's the new link anyway ^_^ http://www.kellyclarkson.com/us/news/kelly...-mr-know-it-all
August 25, 201113 yr Muumuse gave it 4.5 out of 5 saying: The singer confidently croons above gently strumming guitars and a tripping, mid-tempo drum beat taken directly from the songbooks of classic ’90′s singer-songwriter chicks (for reference, consult Alanis Morrissette‘s Jagged Little Pill or Donna Lewis‘smash hit, “I Love You Always Forever”–sans the saccharine sweet quality of Lewis’ voice.). Actually, it’s quite similar to the beat of Clarkson’s own “Just Missed The Train” off of Thankful–my personal favorite!and So, to conclude: Melodies for days a la Thankful, a kind of lyrical angst that falls somewhere between Breakaway and My December, and the radio friendly restraint of All I Ever Wanted (you know, without that forced Clive Davis-approved pop-rock gloss.) If the review is accurate, I approve of this new direction.
August 25, 201113 yr No it was taken down strangely :S Here's the new link anyway ^_^ http://www.kellyclarkson.com/us/news/kelly...-mr-know-it-all It sounds like it could be great! I'm so excited to hear it! :D
