Last Man Standing, Happy Endings and most importantly, Once Upon A Time, have all been given full season orders. :D

Also hearing that Pan Am has had five more scripts ordered..

Not a huge shock, but still very pleasing re. Once Upon A Time.

This weeks episode of American Horror Story wasn't QUITE as good as last weeks, but I like that we found out some more about Tate, he's one of my favourites (this has nothing to do with him being hot, that's just a nice extra). The scene with Constance putting the make up on Addy was SO SAD though :(

The character development of Tate this week was brilliant. Really enjoyed watching it! Constance is also, excellent. Really can't wait to find out more about her and Tate/her in general.
Wow, this week's Homeland really twisted the knife with that last polygraph. And Carrie what are you doing! Definitely the best drama on TV at the moment though, I am hooked, obsessed and besotted.

Indeed! You can't really be certain with the direction they are taking things, it's continuously changing.

Do you think we could open a thread for Pan Am ?

This show is truly amazing  Such great characters and very good actors. And the storylines are really good too. It makes me want to live in the 60s :kink:

Is the show kinda flopping though? I read it started with like 10m vievers and is now down to 5/6m viewers, but I don't know much about US TV so I don't know if it means the show will be axed or not.

When he stared down the camera before he answered the question, that was really intense. On a purely writing based level it's leaps and bounds ahead of everything else this season. No idea where things are going to go though, which is really exciting.

I don't know if there's enough interest to warrant a thread or not. But yes, if it maintains current viewing figures it'll be axed likely after 13 episodes, but will get one season maximum.

Oh, Sad times

Oh my GOD Whitney is rather horrible. Never watching that again.

'Homeland' is just too damn good. Probably my favourite new drama since Mad Men, Breaking Bad or The Good Wife.

Every actor seems to be on fire lately, especially Danes and Lewis. I'm surprised (and pleased) that they don't seem to be dragging out the plot too much and how each episode is fast-paced and completely unpredictable. Carrie really is a loose canon too, one day off her meds and she already slips up. EXCITE.

With all this talk I'm going to need to check out 'Homeland' at some point this week. It doesn't sound like my sort of thing at all but neither did The Good Wife.

Pan Am starts on BBC2 on Wednesday at 9pm with a double bill. I don't watch the channel so I have no idea what the promo is like but there is a one or two page spread about it in todays The Sun.

It's not normally my kind of thing either, but the writing and acting is top notch and makes the whole thing very engaging.

Brilliant episode of Pan Am this week, mainly because something HAPPENED for a change. It felt like most of the main cast had a good part to play which has been my main issue over the past few episodes.

I agree Pan Am episode was amazing ! But not as much as the previous one (the one with the Black guy  ) !

Colette is growing to be my fav character

NBC mid-season schedule is out.

The Voice & Smash on Monday as previously announced.

'Fashion Star', Tuesdays at 10pm from March once Parenthood has completed it's season.

'Whitney' to Wednesday with 'Are You There Vodka..' & 'Rock Center' at 9pm.

'30 Rock' taking the place of Community (which isn't on the schedule), 'Up All Night' at 9:30pm, The Firm at 10.

'Harrys Law' to Sundays at 8.

So Prime Suspect isn't there either, and neither is Awake, I wonder where they'll fit that in eventually because it's one that could actually be a hit for them I think.

edit: Are You There Vodka, It's Me, Chelsea seems to be just Are You There, Chelsea? now.

The Voice premiering the night of Super Bowl and then again the next day is a great scheduling decision. I wouldn't be surprised if it scored regular 6.0+ this season. Makes the performance of X Factor all the more embarrassing :D

Pairing Whitney and Are You There Chelsea? makes perfect sense. I'm still holding out hope for the latter to be a good show.

Doesn't seem like there's even so much as a trailer for The Firm but since it's a John Grisham adaptation it might be at least a minor ratings hit for them?

COMMUNITY. ACK.

I'm surprised they aren't debuting 'Awake' early Februrary like 'Smash'. Obviously the latter fits perfectly with 'The Voice' but all eyes will be on NBC that week and 'Awake' has a fairly solid chance of being a hit (and NBC desperately need some more of those).

Smash is being built up to be absolutely outstanding in my head purely because it's Debra Messing. They'd best get Karen Walker to guest star ASAP.

'Smash' is going to be massive, isn't it? I have a feeling the Emmy's are going to be all over it too. BUT IT LOOKS PANTS TBH.
