Easily one of the best tracks on Born This Way.

'It's definitely decent'

 

Not understanding the mass love-in over it really but it's definitely not something I'd skip.

It's definitely decent. I don't love it like some of you, but I must say, it makes a great driving song.
It's amazing, full of hooks and sexiness, sonically it's stunning through big bassy headphones or a loud soundsystem. In my top 3 on the album along with 'Government Hooker' and 'The Edge Of Glory'.

Tbh it's creeped up on me and can definitely be defined as "one of the best things she's ever done". I can see the heaven metaphor too with those whispy "I could be your girl girl girl..." moments. *.*
I am now of the belief that it is very much awful. As with much of its parent album it started off average and has gotten much much worse on repeated listens.
It started to grow on me, but now I have gone off it again :(
This remains AMAZING, my 4th fave on the album!
It's a great album track, I wouldn't mind if it got released but there are far superior songs on the album (Goverment Hooker, Scheisse, Bad Kids)
I voted for decent. It is a nice song and I don't hate it anymore, but nice is all it will ever be. Also, not about HML but about the poll, The Fame's bonus tracks were some of it's best!!! The only bad song from The Fame is Eh, Eh. Again Again is one my fave Lady GaGa songs EVER!!! :wub:

It's glorious. By far her best and I fell in love with it as soon as I heard it!

If this or Scheiße don't end up being released and become the Dance In The Dark's of this album I swear..

Voted Grade A pop song. I love Heavy Metal Lover. Gosh. Just glorious. I want this song's whiskey mouth all over my south. Or actually, ears. That's better.
