Anyone think any Gaga songs from the album release tomorrow will trouble the top 40 officially? There bound to be a couple to go at least top 40 on iTunes, but to go top 40 officially they probably have to go top 20 (i.e. Telephone). Anyone think any of them could do this, and which ones do you think could? I think Government Hooker could, and mabye Schiesse?

Scheiße absolutely has too (my fav), as does Bloody Mary (2nd fav). You & I no doubt will do fairly well (close 3rd), maybe also Government Hooker. Hopefully Judas, BTW + TEOG get boosts officialy because of people downloading them off the album too.

Edit: a fan favourite on twitter and a few polls ihave seen is Bloody Mary, but im guessing most fans will just download the whole album rather than cherrypick, and those that cherrypick may overlook the brilliant BM

Also TFM is #4 on the album chart! It could do an Adele (with 19/21 both in top 10) :cheer:

Lol The Saturdays song is growing on me, I bought it not knowing how it sounds (because I sorta like The Saturdays) and it was ok I guess.

NOTHING beats their second single, Up. That track was quality.

Yoü And I, Marry The Night and Government Hooker (and maybe Scheiße just for its title) could all do it. I think most of them will go top 100 at least.

I agree, those four and Americano will do best. However, if Scheisse gets into the top 40, I honestly doubt it will be because of the name. I am predicting it to be one of the biggest as it is a clear favourite from the album, judging by everyones comments and polls, so I think it could get top 40 just on the fact it is one of the best and it has excitement around it.

dear lord, this was six pages long last night :drama:

I still don't think the Saturdays will get anywhere near number 1, like every girl/boy band, they are very front-loaded, I predict 3-5 by the end of the week

no other new releases it seems, Sharam has flopped :( Glee are covering Black Kids?! I really hope that makes it in or at least does something for the original

are The Saturdays close to the top 10?

As for Gaga tracks in top 40, only tracks I can see that having a chance are Yoü And I (because it was performed SOOOOO MUCH), Government Hooker, Americano, Bloody Mary and Scheisse.

Well thats five plus the three singles so that would be eight. Can't see it myself. How many tracks are there in total?

Well all 8 of The Fame Monster were top 100, (and 7 charted officially in the top 100). There are 14 on the standard, 17 on the special.

I really hope Scheiße. Bloody Mary + You & I get into the top 100, and eventually get released officially

In terms of Lady Gaga songs, I think that You and I one is the only one that might go top 40. I mean, Alejandro was very well-known before the album release, and even that only got to #42 on iTunes. The album release should give Judas and The Edge of Glory another week in the top 10 though, even if The Saturdays knock the latter out. Hair will probably get another week top 40 too.

The Saturdays are doing much better than I thought!!! :o I hope they go top 10!! :D

Although there's no way it'll get #1 this week (or at all), since it's on air, on sale.

'Alejandro' wasn't exactly well known before 'The Fame Monster' release. 'You and I' has been performed live for almost a year now, so it should have a lot more hype than 'Alejandro'.

To be honest, only Scheiße is deemed mainstream radio friendly. Bloody Mary will do another Judas and You & I won't do well because Gaga isn't really known for her ballad songs...

You & I is a completely different side to Gaga that not many are familiar with unless you've seen her live. Its an incredible song, and hopefully can do well (though i doubt she will release it  )

You're Bloody Mary on the other hand probably wont do too well, but based on polls etc it seems to be one of the favourite from the album.

Scheiße on the other hand... :w00t:

Notorious should go top 10 soon!! If the top 10 effect gives it a massive boost I hope it still has a chance of gaining on Pibtull as Airplay & Video will really start to pick up.

Well, I knew Alejandro extremely well before the album release, and I'm not a Gaga fan (as I'm sure everybody knows ).

I haven't heard You and I yet, although I have heard a lot of people talk about it. Also Government Hooker I've heard a lot about.

A lot of people are saying that Scheisse song might do well, but I heard nobody talk about that song until like a couple of days ago, whilst the other songs I've heard being discussed for months.

There was a remix of Scheisse around even before BTW I think, so there's been a little hype around it. And it's being touted by many as an album standout.

31.4% (Gained 3.0% on Pitbull) 11) The Saturdays - Notorious

1.1% behind (Gained 3.8%) 10) Lady GaGa - The Edge Of Glory

5.6% behind (Gained 3.6%) 09) David Guetta / Nicki Minaj / Flo Rida - Where Them Girls At

6.9% behind (Gained 3.4%) 08) Swedish House Mafia - Save The World

11.4% behind (Gained 3.2%) 07) Lady GaGa - Judas

2.4% ahead of (Gained 3.1%) 12) Jessie J - Nobody's Perfect

2.8% ahead of (Gained 3.2%) 13) Jennifer Lopez / Pitbull - On The Floor

3.8% ahead of (Gained 3.5%) 14) Alexandra Stan - Mr Saxobeat

6.1% ahead of (Gained 3.3%) 15) Jennifer Lopez / Lil Wayne - I'm Into You

Gained means that The Saturdays are pulling away from the song behind, or catching the song in front ;)

Oh, okay. It might do well then. Tracks that get leaked early do tend to get more downloads. The most extreme example is Ridin' Solo, which went top 20 (and like with Scheisse, it was a different version that got leaked).

There were remixes of 'Government Hooker' and 'Schiebe' before BTW, and 'Marry The Night' had a lot of hype too. 'Americano' (along with 'Schiebe') seem to be fan favourites, and 'You & I' has been performed a bit already!
