May 25, 201114 yr Who knows :P We'll see if she can do that soon enough :) Do we know where the Sats are? Up?

May 25, 201114 yr I cant believe some of the trash in the top10 at the moment. I havent liked any of the recent number ones at all.
May 25, 201114 yr Albums 1 Lady Gaga (~126k) 2 Adele [21]3 The Prodigy 4 Adele [19] 5 Bruno Mars Top 10 6 Lady Gaga Would be weird to have only 3 different artists in the top5 by Sunday :o Did it ever happen before?
May 25, 201114 yr Caro's album holding up really well, only down two places :o Great to see Alexandra Stan and Swedish House Mafia representing the Euro contingent in the top ten!
May 25, 201114 yr Firstly, I think 'Notorious' is going to stick at #5 come Sunday and might fall a few or climb a place the following week. I doubt it will plummet. Secondly, Nicole's RT is proving to be a promising hit. #13 already?! Just shows that it was the right single choice after all. It's clearly helping out the album. Nice to see Beyonce up to #23. The video alone makes the song deserve a top 10 placing although that might be out of the question unless it sustains a top 20 position on iTunes until the album is released and two versions push it into the top 10.
May 25, 201114 yr I expect I'm Into You to be at least #15 by Sunday, #11 on iTunes and hoping it is soon inside the top 10 giving it that vital boost. Mr Saxobeat up to #5 on iTunes so going to be at least #7 by Sunday I predict. I think Notorious will be at #6 on Sunday. Is Right There helping the album, isnt it #39 so nearly outside top 40 already? :o I thought it may help more.. Beautiful People helping Chris Brown's album, #21. Edited May 25, 201114 yr by Karma

Well considering her album was out of the top 40 last week for the first time, the fact that it's already back in the top 40 is a good thing. :P I've only just caught up with iTunes...maybe the Sats will plummet after all. Maybe #7 is an accurate peak for them officially. They've never had a #7 hit before. :o So far, they've peaked at #2 [JCGE/FIO], #3 [MY], #4 [issues], #5 [up], #8 [iTIL], #9 [Ego] and #10 [Higher]. Just #1, #6 and #7 to go now. :kink:
May 25, 201114 yr Secondly, Nicole's RT is proving to be a promising hit. #13 already?! Just shows that it was the right single choice after all. It's clearly helping out the album. It's not really helping the album as the album has not re-entered the top 40! If this got a 6peak I would be quite happy! But next week should be its peak imo.

May 25, 201114 yr I have to say I am very happy for The Saturdays, Alexandra, Nicole and obvcourse Gaga in the album chart. They are the main things keeping the chart intresting at the moment. I expect 220k from Gaga by Sunday, as I think her sales will fall, as all her major fans will have rushed out to buy it straight away, hence why the first midweek was so big. I have to say though, I am very suprised at how well BTW is doing so far, I expected around 170k, so anything over 200k is amazing. Edited May 25, 201114 yr by Davidson

May 25, 201114 yr I can see Lady Gaga's album being the 2nd best-selling of the year worldwide, behind Adele's of course. Don't count on her being behind Adele - yes, there could be a difference of over a million in the UK but it's far too early to predict who will come out top in the US where sales are a lot higher. Gaga has a fanbase pretty much everywhere where Adele's done well, and she's meant to be pushing the Chinese and Indian markets which are potential goldmines.

Gaga has a fanbase pretty much everywhere where Adele's done well, and she's meant to be pushing the Chinese and Indian markets which are potential goldmines. As a chinese person myself, the China music market is SOOOO small that there's literally no point in counting the sales. Shops that sell bootleg/illegal music CDs/DVDs are legal in China hence why the bad official sales. Gaga won't sell much legal CDs in China. As much as i'm a Gaga loon, Adele has already sold 5.62million copies of 21 worldwide and is continuing to sell 300,000+ copies worldwide per week for a while now...

Also Adelle's 21 is hugely successful only in the UK. No1 album is nothing out of the ordinary to have... she only has 7XPlat in the UK, everywhere else her sales are not overwhelming. Gaga has a strong fanbase all around the world. Even if she only sells a million+ in the UK she will easilly sell 3,5+ mil in the US an thus have a 5+ million WW totall. May 25, 201114 yr Adele has already sold 5.62million copies of 21 worldwide and is continuing to sell 300,000+ copies worldwide per week for a while now... Is she REALLY selling over 300.000/week? but she is currently looking for 50k UK sales this week...
May 25, 201114 yr I bet Adele will come back to the top spot next week. :D I fail to see how that will happen, it would probably be under 50k by then anyway great to see Alexandra Stan top 10 :D good sales for Gaga considering it was very front-loaded, its still defied my expectations of 100-150k
May 25, 201114 yr Is she REALLY selling over 300.000/week? but she is currently looking for 50k UK sales this week... Em...yes. She's selling 120k+ every week in the US for a while now. PLUS Adele is like the breakthrough act of the year, she's quite big everywhere now.
