Supposedly released on 5th June, but there seems to have been very little promo.

 

Naturally I want this to be '1, both because it is Kylie :heart: , and because it'd thwart Example. :lol:

 

However, realistically T40 is the best that can probably be hoped for.

And is it a new song, or one from Aphrodite?

 

And Kylie was up against Example too last year, iirc. :lol:

It's from Aphrodite, but I don't know if it is a new version of the song.

It'll get low T40, but I want it to flop. Haven't even heard the song yet, but its Kylie Minogue so am not expecting anything good

Kylie has done loads of great songs over the years imo. Even from her most recent album, I'm still loving Get Outta My Way and Better Than Today.

Yes she has done lots of great songs but I don't like this era for her :(

My heart say's Top 10, but my brain tells me Top 40 (aka Better Than Today) if she has strog physicals.

I think it's going to miss the top 40, perhaps not by much, but miss it all the same. I'd be quite happy for it to do so, it's limp as they come and barely good enough for an album track, let alone a single.

I'd like it to go Top 5 just cos it's Kylie but realistically it'll just scrape the Top 40, or maybe even lower than that. LOL at whoever's predicted it to chart in the Top 5, delusional much? :rofl:

I don't see it going anywhere really, if it gets a physical release it may go somewhere in the top 75 on fanbase buys but they may as well not bother, it's a really weak album track and there's no video or anything.

 

The only exciting prospect about this for me is a new B-side.

I can not even see this breaking the top 100 to be honest. I would love it to go top 20, but considering how little promo there is and the fact that Better Than Today couldn't do it with all of the promo it had behind it, I can't imagine this would fare any better than that. This is one of the weaker tracks on the album for me. Would much prefer Kylie to release Aphrodite or Closer than this, but they probably wouldn't do any better chart wise.

From what I've read, it's released as a download only single on 5 June. Bearing that in mind, I think top 75 would be pushing it - little promo equates to a real push for sales; unless of course she's booked for Britian's Got Talent.

It's gonna flop big time. But we're getting a new B-side so its not all bad :lol:

Actually it's quite good. Suits to the summer but unfortunately i think it will miss the Top 40. Somewhere between 44 and 38 at its best. Better Than Today was performed on X Factor and only went Top 40.

If it makes top 75 i will be pleased, but seeing as how its a digital only, i doubt it will chart at all, considering she's done no promo, i dont think radio are playing it and theres no video. Better Than Today got an X Factor performance and even that could only manage #32, so i have very little hope for this, I doubt anyone will know its released, its a shame she decided to wait till the last release when all the hype has died to use a b-side , GOOMW and BTT could have really used them instead.

 

If i could though id want it in the top 20 as thats as high as i could see it realistically going.

Yes, but they erronoiusly said it wasn't available yet, so its sales got splintered over many weeks, instead of concentrated.

Isn't it the same as the Nerina Pallot song?

I love Kylie, but i think this will flop, top 75 at best, no promo, no video, no phyisical and im sure very little radio play aswell.
