Paradise is brilliant :wub: :wub: 'Teardrop' took a while to fully click with me, but this is far more instant and sounds more anthemic, really looking forward to this album now! :D

I'm no fan of theirs but I LOVE 'Paradise' and the artwork is completely stunning so far.

Not a Coldplay fan at all but this is SPECTACULAR :wub:

I agree - in fact the best since VLV imo (I listened to it literally 20+ times already today).

Idk but the song reminds me so much of the film THE BEACH

The little bassline before the drum kicks in is the GREATEST thing I have ever heard. This is definitely going to be one of my favorite Coldplay singles, possibly my favorite. It's absolutely beautiful.

Cant wait for this album, its been way too long Coldplay! Also if any of you havent seen Coldplay live i'd really recommend to go see them, its an absolutely epic atmosphere! :music:

'Paradise' is fantastic as expected. Not sure if I prefer it to Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall yet but it's close. This album is currently shaping up to be possibly their best ever for me if everything is to a similar standard to the two singles!

 

Unfortunately Paradise isn't chart eligible until the album's release for the same reason Viva La Vida wasn't initially - but unfortunately this time I don't quite see it going straight in at #1 as soon as the album comes out. It's going to be lucky to go top 40 unless it has much better longevity than ETIAW (or it gets a boost a la ETIAW's after Glasto). :(

Paradise sounds like a Ryan Tedder song, especially with the "para-para-paradise" hook...although, I don't think it really works.

Well that is SOUL-DESTROYING. :( I hate it when songs get disqualified for silly reasons like that, I'm still torn up over Gorillaz's Stylo (can't remember why that couldn't chart, but that era was rather screwed up with single releases). And VLV deserved a better chart run.

 

Paradise is amazing though, and hopefully it can still get top 40 when it's finally allowed in. Definitely the best since VLV.
