June 21, 201114 yr So far I am not impressed and still prefer Danny. Hell, I even prefer Masquerade to this!
June 21, 201114 yr So far I am not impressed and still prefer Danny. Well Danny is fucking amazing. Turn Off The Sound, Running Away, Unite This Heart ALL 10/10s. When is he going to get around to making another solo record?!
June 21, 201114 yr To be honest "Cassandra" is a criminal track and should send the EP straight into oblivion as a punishment.
June 21, 201114 yr Did I hallucinate or did Danny not throw a solo album out like 2/3months ago? He did, although it was more of a Saturdays type 8 track affair, even recycling Just Like That - so essentially it's an extended EP with 7 new tracks. It's called In The Club if Jark wishes to search for it.
June 21, 201114 yr Thought I'd check out this thread cause I'm loving Popular at the moment... Hearts In The Air isn't bad either, clearly nowhere near as 'OMG AMAZING' as Popular, but pretty good! :D Could do without the random rent-a-rapper though...

June 21, 201114 yr I have no memory of this. Anyway the EP is really decent but not a patch on Set Your Body Free which I'm unhealthily obsessed with. The EP is like its more aggressive, sex-in-the-club-obsessed older brother.
June 21, 201114 yr Set Your Body Free was massively ahead of its time in pop terms. The fact that Just Like That can be successfully recycled for another release three years later with no spit and polish needed is testament to this. Likewise Darin's Breathing Your Love though, another 2008 release - anything the Americans are doing, the Swedes were usually doing it first
June 21, 201114 yr I don't really understand the Just Like That debacle?! Why was it included on the EP? It's not even any different to the version on Set Your Body Free and it's definitely in the lower half of that record in quality terms. There are so many better songs. Also I prefer Monrose's Olive-sampling Just Like That. :D
June 21, 201114 yr The clips for this so far have been alright, I am not convinced I want to buy the album yet though. Danny is amazing, really should be massive everywhere! Darin was also well ahead, working with RedOne back on his first couple of albums YEARS and YEARS ago! (Step Up = THE SEX!)

June 29, 201114 yr Released today, wonder how long it will take to leak - weeks, months? Wish it was on UK iTunes :(
June 29, 201114 yr Possibly after you get your copy from Nordic Music and leak it yourself :kink: ANYBODY (with sense) should prefer the ABBA Just Like That. Except ABBA themselves clearly (RELEASE IT YOU BITCHES) (I had a dream (heh) once that they decided to release it and got a chorus of ABBA fans - including me - to do the na na nas... :snif:)
June 29, 201114 yr No chance Tom, I've got no job at the moment so no more importing of anything until that's rectified  Plus I don't care quite enough for Saade to spend more than £15 on his album!
June 29, 201114 yr I found a link in the end, it's about as good as I expected to be honest. Popular is head and shoulders above everything else, there are a couple of other almost great pop songs on here and everything else is somewhere between ok/forgettable and good. It never really lifts itself out of generic territory which harms it a bit but it does sound like the majority of the album will grow on subsequent listens. This is pretty much the same opinion I had of his debut - for me he's still a promising artist with a couple of killer singles and a couple of verging on decent albums but Ola, Danny and Darin are all still doing it better.
