Fairly average set of singers (as per). Nobody really stands out. I really like that young irish girl, cos she has such a sweet voice. But she just does scream a Diana Vickers mk.II without the hate from the public/press.

Rather enjoyed bootcamp weekend myself. Kind of upset John Adams, Lascel Wood didn't get through and Luke Lucas and Frankie Cockozza did though.

I quite like Frankie aswell. His voice isn't brilliant, but its quite raw. Bit different. I like the guy that sounds like Paolo Nutini aswell, but I can't imagine is stage presence being brilliant unless he works on it massively.

Apparently that Melanie McCabe has been put through to the live shows! If so, I can't see Jade or Janet (:puke:) losing their lives places, so I think either Misha or Amelia will be the ones who are left behind. I am not sure which or them it will be, but I am thinking mabye Amelia as they hardly showed us any of her this weekend. If this is true, I am gutted, as Misha and Amelia are my two favourites in the whole competition, and I really don't think Melanie's that good at all

 

 

I think that Jade, Joe and James were fantastic this weekend. I hadn't rated them that much before, but I thought they were all brilliant, especially Jade who I thought was average and over-rated at her first audition, but she shone this weekend, the group task especially.

Melanie would be through, she's been so high up in the odds even before her audition was shown weirdly. I reckon Misha may lose out. I do hope it isn't Amelia, she is BY FAR my favourite and I will be MAJORLY pissed off if she doesn't get through!

Oh, I thought you were talking about performance/voice ect, not clothing and style. Fair point, but I don't even think Nicki would wear the hideous things that Misha wears and that awful dead squid hair-piece. Bless her, she is fabulous but has no fashion sense what-so-ever.

For me, I really think that this is Jade's for the taking. She just ticks every box of the things you need to do well on this show:

 

1. Sob Story: Living in a field with sheeps and wanting to make her gran proud

2. Has the Su-Bo factor: Voice but not looks, people will be willing her to do well

3. The Scottish vote: Us Scots even managed to let Leon Jackson win for god-sake

4. Good start but not front runner: Third favourite to win, people tend to get sick of front-runners (Diana ect.)

5. THAT GIRL CAN SING.

Rebecca ( :puke: ) didn't really move though even performing those songs... which is why she only came 2nd and didn't win, imo.

If anything her 'Sweet Dreams' performance narrowed the gap between herself and Cardle. It was a TRIUMPHANT moment.

 

Other than cunty Kitty this year really is filled with a bunch of WASHED UP HASBEENS with nil prospects and nil personality. It seems as though the production crew have thrown any CAUTION TO THE WIND remaining and want to sell the programme on the basis of novelty and entertainment value. It'll be a miracle if anyone decent ever comes out of this proverbial washing machine.

 

Oh and no-one will BAT AN EYE at Jade standing around looking dumpy, she can use the "I'm fat and have an emotional voice" shtick a la Adele.

I am routing for a girl group to do SO WELL. I really am hoping they pull out the stops this year. Tulisa will be amazing for the groups. She genuinely and sincerely wanted to take on the challenge of the groups and I am trusting whatever decisions she makes and watching Xtra Factor it's actually a pretty strong group this year!

This certainly isn't going to be the "year of the groups" as the producers have done a totally HASH JOB with all these forming and then reforming of groups. Every single one of them is an utter cliche and all seem to lack any element of personality. Groups struggle as it is, let alone with only two episodes of Judges Homes to project and define who you are. What basis or reason is anyone going to have to vote for any of them over the likes of the more established acts that have had AMPLE airtime such as Janet etc?

I'm personally most excited for the first look at the LIVE SHOW MAKEOVERS. I wonder if anyone can compete with Mary Byrne's REINCARNATION into Dawn French last year?
