I doubt it'd go to #1 if released on Sunday.. More like Top 10. It hasn't had anywhere near as much airplay as the previous singles

I don't see why you think that could go to #1 on its first week? Jason Derülo is hardly a massive star and DWGH hasn't had much airplay at all. Does it even have a video? Plus it's only got to #18 so far in the USA.

 

I wouldn't rule out it climbing to #1 but Jason D doesn't strike me as someone who'd have massive first-week success with an OA/OS release.

Jason is 4 atm on Irish iTunes, I'd assume he'd get similair here - perhaps a bit lower. Deffo not number 1 though...

...but the music video has been played endlessly. Every morning this week it's been played on one of the channels. So it is getting airplay, just not of the radio variety. The chorus is so limp and flat. :manson: And how many times is he going to start a song by singing "Jason Derulo"? Where is the originality? :drama: It's as bad as Kaiser Chiefs debut album where every track had an "aaaarrrrgggGGGHHHHHH!!!!" bit. :(

I'd imagine the song would have more of a Ridin' Solo chart run really (minus all those weeks at the beginning where it hung around in the top 100). I've heard it on the radio a grand total of once. :lol:

I don't think Jason Derulo's even being released though? its not on the release schedule anyway
