Wow, Coldplay can still really command a fanbase can't they? Hopefully it won't start to fall for a few days, makes me wonder how Foo Fighters could have done if "Rope" had just scraped into the top 10 rather than stalling at #12...

What happened with Enrique's Dirty Dancer?

I think Example will be the worst number 1 this year so far too, I just don't like it at all. But at least it will be a change from Pitbull, but hopefully Example won't be number 1 for too long :)

Of course they can, the biggest group in the world in the past 12 years, just a FESTIVAL single and not the official or the first, without any promo to come... this is only the fanbase... and yes, it will fall quick of course without anything, until the REAL first single and the album will be announced maybe after the 12 Festivals they have in the next 2 mounts.

I guess Nicola will have to settle with a top 20 this week, but this ain't too bad. Hopefully it will later get a new peak :)

 

Very happy for Example though, love the track and I'm glad we can get a new number 1 this week :cheer:

Glad that Nicola is going up bit by bit. Top 20 soon please, =]. This is exactly how I expected her run to go. A slow burner.

So, #1 for Example for sure! And I think Coldplay will definitely end up in the top-10 now. BUT the second week will be a disaster for them. Hopefully Nicola will get a top-10 placing somehow too, now the video is properly released.

Hopefully the Radio Edit will be #1 before the Chart Show starts at the latest. Pitbull still has quite a lead but Example is gaining really really quickly.

The dislike bar is HUGE on Youtube and the video's is now trending with loads comparing it to Rebecca Black...

I guess I must have really bad taste then..I thought it was a fun catchy and quirky pop song...

It IS a good song. But it's pretty experimental/uncommercial as pop goes, and people outside the UK might not get it. Anyway, any publicity is good publicity.

Just listened to the Example song... After the $h!t that was Unorthodox and Game Over I expected him to have jumped the shark, but it's actually really good, and would fully deserve #1, well at least compared to the other contenders this week (which Nicola ain't sadly...)
