How many more confirmed promotions does Nicole have in the UK in the future?

I read on here that she's performing on Graham Norton on Friday, had she had promotion throught the week ala Loose Women, This Morning, Lorraine, Daybreak the album could have re-entered the top 10 and the single would have been number 2 combined!

Think it's too much to overtake Pitbull's #2 lead at the moment. I wonder has her album went up a bit yet.

Let's all get the mechanics of this correct though. Does a record label PAY a show to feature their act or vice versa or is it a contract of mutual consent (i.e. one where no money passes either way)? I'd honestly like to know the answer to this as I'm unawares.

I suspect some money will have passed from Nicole's team to ITV. To have been featured on all three of their major primetime shows with what was a very minor solo profile prior. You don't just get OFFERED that sort of thing. It's a gamble as to whether people catch on and buy the records but one that seems to be working at the moment.

She is still producing a very expensive campaign and one that her label surely needs slightly more revenue coming in from album sales. She's had GOOD single sales but needs GREAT in everything to support her elevated campaign structure one would have thought...

On Sunday we should get a whole load of new entries...

Example, Nicola Roberts, Paramore, Coldplay, LMFAO, Katy B, (possibly) Josh Grobin and (possibly) The Calling

I've always wondered this too tbh. I think it probably depends on the circumstances.

Like I could imagine the X Factor paying someone like Madonna or Britney Spears to perform, but I think if it was someone like Pixie Lott or The Saturdays performing it'd be their record labels paying the X Factor.

Pitbull - Give Me Everything 55.7%

Nicole Scherzinger - Right There 40.3% combined.

Yeah, The gap is massive. Had she been here promoting all week she arguably could have taken over him though!

I don't think Nicola will get top 20 this week, She's plummeting now and has lost over 4% to The Saturdays today who are 23. Now she's only 2% ahead of 24th. Combined on iTunes she's 22nd as J-Lo & Lady Gaga are ahead of her combined now. I predict 26th this week!

LMFAO has a new song out at top 40...?

Yeah, it's a collab with Natalia Kills. I haven't heard it yet personally, but it should get top 40 officially if it climbs a bit more.

Does anybody think Example can be #1 for 2 weeks, or will Pitbull get back to #1? Or is there a new song out which could debut there?

Is Example's song OA/OS song? If so it can drop quite a bit later this week...

it's better than PRA actually :o It has Natalia Kills on vocals!

no its been on air for weeks, in this case, holding back the release has really worked, OA/OS very rarely achieves this sort of success, Coldplay are doing well, but I think they'll drop later in the week

Skimming the release sched, the only big(ish) releases are Calvin Harris ft. Kelis - Bounce (though I can see that top 5 at best) and Jason DeRulo - Don't Wanna Go Home (this will chart between 5-10 I think) so I think Pitbull may return.

How come it wasn't on sale after the aired? Strange that some songs are released after air and some are pushed back.

This only mainly happens with a couple of record companies. If record companies want to premiere a song, it's fine but they should always wait until the following Sunday to get the full impact of a seven day week total.

That classical song is almost in the top 40 now. Did they play it on Radio 1 again?

I giorni is at #39 now. :o

Why?

Paramore at #40.

I didn't even know they had a new single out - not that I'm complaining! :)

I don't think Example will fall quick enough for Pitbull to return to #1next week. Possibly the following week as there are 0 big releases in the next couple of weeks except, as Liam said, Calvin and Jason, both of which I doubt would touch #1.

 31. Monster - Paramore :o

 68. How to Love - Lil Wayne

Why is HTL only climbing so much now? It's been out for a while.
