not sure if DJ sets are your thing but yes the world tour is coming there :cheer: You have to choose whether you want Tiesto or Aoki / Hardwell or Heldens though :P

I had to rip your idea off okay

Tiesto/Heldens would be my preferred  both are quite good so they can do well in Ultraviolenceland :)

anyway it's about time I started hyping entry #34. It's not deep house this time although people who can't tell the difference between houses will probably call it deep house. HYPE.
yas multiple dates in ajanaeda, bring your fab taste to eska ( and zainzonsa if you wanna be funky :funky: )

Danaelanda LXXII: Pep & Rash - Rumors

http://s18.postimg.org/kwif016o9/rumorslxxii.png

About Pep & Rash

It’s all about the melody. As upcoming DJs and producers in the worldwide dance scene, Dutch duo Pep & Rash know exactly how to deliver their tracks with the right hooks and energy. Exactly this talent will prove them to be a longlasting act for dance music's future.

For it's the blend of warm melodies and mainstage mania that characterizes Pep & Rash' music. Call it their trademark sound, fact of the matter is that these Dutch freshmen created something new and exciting, which catapulted them into the dance scene.

Recently, the Quintino edit of their track 'Fatality' got loads of support by DJs like Martin Garrix, Avicii, Hardwell and Afrojack. Now the boys are ready to start mesmerizing the world with their tunes. From a small town in Zeeland into a DJ’s dream, playing the crowds on international grounds –it won’t be long before you’ll get blown away by the inventive sound of Pep & Rash.

-x-

The 34th entry comes from newcomers Pep & Rash, who were recently signed to Spinnin' Records and have released a few good tunes, namely 'Fatality', edited by Quintino who was previously sent to BJSC by Danaelanda, and now 'Rumors', which doesn't feature any other producers. The song is best described as future house and it in the style of Oliver Heldens, Tchami and Mr. Belt & Wezol though we believe this song stands out on its own from them. Take a listen and remember to vote!

Fabulous entry!

people have got to get some sleep sometime  Or does that not happen in Ethanola? :P

24 hour party people

Not a bad track Dan but I think I prefer Bang tbh, shame I didn't get to vote it :(

Entry #034: BJSC LXXII: February 2015: Altyr Muunilinst

Pep & Rash "Rumors"

Semi Final: xx (out of xx); xx points

Final: 6th (out of 31); 158 points

Two contests ago Danaelanda achieved our personal best with Shadow Child & Doorly's 'Climbin (Piano Weapon)' finishing 11th. Today we beat that with our FIRST EVER!!!!!1!11!! :jameela: top 10 smash. Even if we had to go a bit cheap (with the song being from Spinnin' and likely to be a future UK hit) to get it we are still very excited about finally joining the list of countries with top 10 hits. 'Rumors' finished 6th with 158 points. So what stopped us from getting our first top 5?

Well with their first BJSC hit after a series of flops, Hushkanukia won the contest with PVRIS 'St. Patrick', it wasn't even close like the odds suggested, with it scoring 247 points. None of which came from us, with it being our 17th favourite entry in the final, however we are happy for the nation to start their stream of success and in such a big way too. We hope to visit the nation for the 73rd contest.

The top 2 were just as the odds predicted, with Desbuanda re-peaking at #2 with Eves The Behaviour 'TV', which made #20 in the Danaelandan rankings. Even lower in our rankings, at #24, is Daehun who finish 4th with Louane 'Avenir'. It gets better however with the rest of the top 5 making our top 10 thus receiving points. The bronze medalist was Persephonia, no strangers to the top end of the contest of course having previously finished in all positions within the top 3. They get another 3rd placer with Dawn Richard 'Tide: The Paradox Effect', getting 1 point from us and beating Daehun by 1 point. Our impact on the final 3 is real. Or not as apparently Johnkm's scoreboard is incorrect and Daehun are in fact 3rd.

Finishing the top 5 is the return of Jayrusalem who if we didn't like their song we would have made the top 5. Thanks a lot -_- Anyway their entry Natalie La Rose feat. Jeremih 'Somebody' is definitely deserving of top 5, it received 8 points from us. Our favourite song of the contest finishes at #7, of course this is the host entry Altyr Muunilinst with Sam Feldt 'Show Me Love', a top 10 smash in Danaelanda. Utopia, D'yermak'er and Bellamia finish the top 10. We didn't give points to any of them.

Our 10 points went to Yehesi, who finish 14th with TheFatRat 'Windfall', a respectable position but it really should've finished higher. There are no more dance-bloc nations to report on as many failed to qualify this contest, thus ending this report. Poor bottom half of the scoreboard not getting a single mention.

Flopped in your semi votes again :drama:

Heading back to dance very likely though for my next contest

yeah Riptide didn't do it for me :(

I'm sure you'll get a smash one day, just keep trying like Hushkanukia

I was actually 4th jsyk so your impact on the top 3 was actually not real oops

Really pleased to see you finally getting a top 10 and with one of your best entries to date as well. N-Lazone thus take over your record for most entries without making the top 10 :o

WD N-Lazone :cheer:

at least I get a new record for most entries before getting a top 10 though. :cheer: (until Singerpurear's 40th entry or something gives him his long awaited big hit lol)

Congratulations on your first ACTUAL top ten BJSC smash Dan :jameela: ~ well deserved!
