Hm. I change my mind then. He'll get #1. You never get #1 predictions wrong :kink:

I often do! But this definitely has everything going for it to be a UK #1 in 2011 and the hype around it is huge, the pre-orders are massive and it's been popular through an advert already. It's going to make a big debut.

DJ Fresh is going to be number one. No-one can get pre orders as good as that and miss the top spot (unless you are Ed Sheeran or Rumer)

And he won't be a one-hit wonder. :P 'Gold Fresh' was a decent-sized hit last year even if it missed T20. Fresh will probably release a follow-up if he gets number one too, dance artists almost always have a low top 20 follow up after getting number one unless they are massive (Example, Calvin Harris etc. who will have more big hits). Of course YBC & DC break this rule (why won't you release again!!!)

Man Down - #61

No sign of it on TV or Radio, wonder if it'll be supported..

Obviously CKB has just been released and is doing well on Radio & TV so this will have to wait its turn. I wonder why she brought out a video for Man Down so early, is it because its the US single?

As I understand it, Man Down isn't actually a single, so I doubt it's been "sent" to radio, etc, which might be why you're not hearing it much anywhere. I think it's an urban single in the US, and she just did a music video for it (since the last urban song she released in the US was What's My Name? back in October, almost 9 months ago, which is poor for a so-called urban artist tbh (although they apparently also sent Raining Men to urban radio there)). Although of course, it could be the 5th official single, obviously.

For an album track though, I've been hearing Man Down a lot on the radio ever since the album was released. I probably hear it like once every 2 weeks, which is great for a non-single track that wasn't in the charts.

I'd like to see DJ Fresh go to #1. I also hope Calvin Harris somehow miraculously makes it today.

And I'm glad to see J-Lo back in the top 10! :D

I think Dj Fresh should go to number one! His Pre-Orders will be huge!
Yeah I was thinking the same Eric, I think after CKB is finished its Radio and TV play Man Down will be sent, but with the controversy of the video not sure if it'll be played but i guess that didnt hold back the huge S&M.

 13. The Lazy Song - Bruno Mars

Dev is continuing her previous chart progress then, she's still at #12 with Nicki now overtaking her into #11... it doesn't matter so much any more as it's gone officially top 10 but it's still quite annoying.

TEOG video tomorrow :w00t: - was expecting it early July knowing Gaga's team!! Woop

What do you mean? She has one of the best teams behind her, she always seems to have a new song on the radio and new video on TV, shes got a great team surely...

#214 Chase & Status ft. Tinie Tempah 'Hitz'

Video was just released for the fifth single, with alterations made for the single version (they have an additional singer for the chorus), although Wretch 32's addition will hopefully just appear on the EP as a remix. I'm really hopeful that this single tears up the top 40, if 'Time' which many considered a poor choice managed to peak at number 21; I have faith that the standout track of the album will chart well.

Thoughts?

#180 Jay Sean ft. Lil Wayne 'Hit the Lights'

This is no doubt on the climb due to MTV promoting 'Summer TV' with it - those that are fans of Geordie Shore will no doubt have heard the song during every commerical.

#194 Maverick Sabre 'Let Me Go'

Finally cracked the top 200 - hopefully it'll get a t200 positioning to put his debut single off to a good start. Below is a list of Ed Sheeran tracks in the top 1000.

#208 Ed Sheeran 'Little Bird'

#229 Ed Sheeran 'Cold Coffee'

#299 Ed Sheeran ft. Milki Pane 'Little Lady'

#337 Ed Sheeran ft. Devlin 'Lately'

#384 Ed Sheeran 'Let It Out'

#550 Ed Sheeran 'Firefly'

#612 Ed Sheeran 'One Night'

#806 Ed Sheeran 'The City'

#997 Wiley ft. Ed Sheeran 'If I Could'

I can't see anything other than a #1 debut for DJ Fresh personally...

How about Bad Meet Evil feat. Bruno Mars - Lighters, I think its got potential :magic:

I meant that they usually take a very long time perfecting the editing of the videos, so was expecting this much later (not that im complaining lol)

32. The Edge of Glory - Lady GaGa

37. Judas - Lady GaGa

67. Born This Way - Lady GaGa

133. The Edge of Glory - Lady GaGa

267. Born This Way - Lady GaGa

Will be keeping an eye on these, with TEOG video released tomorrow night, with all 3 then performed on Paul O'Grady on Friday night. With the video and TV performance both making impacts on Friday, I can see TEOG being top 20 easily by Saturday morning, and then hopefully re-entering the top 10.

I could see TEOG getting top 10 again for sure. And possibly #1 in the US (since it's been in the top 10 there for weeks, and that's without a video).
How about Bad Meet Evil feat. Bruno Mars - Lighters, I think its got potential :magic:

They better get a move on and get that music video filmed, editied and sent to all good music channels. DJ Fresh already has a music video in heavy rotation so, like Example, I can see 'Louder' having big first week sales - should be around 90k if not more, but will most likely tail off quickly thereafter.

Kind of off-topic but has anyone heard the new Cher Lloyd song? Swagger Jagger

:o dont know if she's being serious with this song, it sounds like a lullabye in the chorus (or like that Oh My Darling Clemantine)!!

Yeah, it does.

I don't mind the song personally. I don't think it'll go to #1 though, but I can see it being a top 10 hit.

I will fear for the country's taste in music if a song titled 'Swagger Jagger' and based on a nursery rhyme goes number one. But it happened last with 'Start Without You' sounding very nursery-rhyme like, so it could happen again (it's very unlikely though considering how much Cher is hated) I haven't heard SJ but I think it'll be bad, shame, cause' I liked her in the first few weeks of the X Factor (auditions and finals) then she got worse and worse ever since she ruined 'Girlfriend' :puke:
