June 8, 201115 yr Rihanna only just moved up to b-list? Ooh so there's still time for this to get back inside the top 10? Why are they snubbing 'Super Bass'? Seriously. (Not that that song actually needs it, although it sort of does if it's to go top 10!) Would be nice to see it on the C-List for a week at least. Is Super Bass actually a single in the UK? If it's not, that might explain it. Radio 1 rarely playlist album tracks (the most recent example I can think of is Someone Like You, but that was at #1, and became a single after a couple of months anyway).

They don't use chart success as the sole barometer for what moves up and down and off the playlist. Never have done. Perhaps not, but surely there's an argument that songs that've done unexectedly well in the charts, *deserve* a place in the playlist, regardless of the feelings of the playlist compilers or the DJ's? I would have loved to have seen Reggie Yates told 'play Skinny Love on your show at least once a day, or you're fired!' :w00t:

Why do they 'deserve' a place on the playlist? The function of Radio 1 is not to play music which is in the charts and popular with the music-buying public. June 10, 201115 yr no Robyn's call your girlforend. UK is not supportng her so much anymore. I adore this song so much, but sadly nothing of Robyn will be playlisted after how 'Hang With Me' did (which was a totally undeserving flop as well).
