Posted June 9, 201114 yr Me and my friend had a little arguement over which of the Beyonce albums was the best one, so I thought it would be intresting, due to the leak of her latest effort '4', to see which of her four albums you prefered. For me it is all about 'I Am...'. Despite the disasters that were 'Video Phone' & 'Diva', every other song was outstanding.
June 9, 201114 yr 4 by a country mile. The album is everything I've wanted from her and more. I'd rate them:4B'DayI Am... Sasha FierceDangerously in Love
June 9, 201114 yr It's obviously I Am...Sasha Fierce. It's a little bloated, but it's got the highest amount of good songs on it of all of them. 01 I Am...Sasha Fierce 02 Dangerously In Love 03 B'Day 04 4
June 9, 201114 yr I've only listened to '4' so I can't really vote fairly. I've often liked her singles but never thought of listening to one of her albums until this one.
June 9, 201114 yr I find it so hard to get my head around 4 being any fan's favourite Bey album. I know she's not really known for bringing personality to her records but it really is just an exercise in great vocals and not much emotion... which is kind of suckish for an album built around ballads. Anyway: 01 I Am... Sasha Fierce 02 B'Day 03 4 04 Dangerously Comatose
June 9, 201114 yr Author I've only listened to '4' so I can't really vote fairly. I've often liked her singles but never thought of listening to one of her albums until this one. If you have liked the Beyonce singles, I highly advise you to have a listen to B Day and I Am..Sasha Fierce as they are just brilliant. I wouldn't like '4' to be the only representative in the Beyonce's albums to you :kink: Edited June 9, 201114 yr by Davidson
June 10, 201114 yr I've not listened to '4' yet (and won't do so until June 27th; good fan :teresa:), but my favourite of the other three is 'I Am... Sasha Fierce'.
June 10, 201114 yr I Am gets my vote. I love the first three albums she did. 4 is her weakest. I know the sasha album inside out and it was one of my fav most played albums of 09/10. I think she just showed how much of a talented and powerful artist she could be with that album.
June 29, 201113 yr 1: IASF 2: B'Day & 4 666: Dangerously in Love (I don't like any tracks except for the singles)
June 29, 201113 yr Okay, after two days of pretty much non-stop playing, '4' is by far and away my favourite. It flows better than the other albums, and I feel that the short tracklist does better for it, than the longer tracklists of the the previous albums. I'd rank them like this: 01. '4' 02. 'I Am... Sasha Fierce' 03. 'B'Day' 04. 'Dangerously In Love' Although I haven't played 'DIL' as much as the other three.
July 28, 201113 yr 1) I Am....Sasha Fierce 2) B'Day 3) 4 4) Dangerously In Love (my GOD, so much filler!!!)
July 28, 201113 yr I Am... although it's not without its filler. If you take both discs and then discard the trash you're left with about 10 really strong songs though. B'Day probably actually has more good songs over the course of the various bonus tracks and editions and remixes but that's a bit complicated and you're into iTunes playlist/self-made compilation territory there. 4 is a massive step backwards but still has two or three songs that would fit into a Beyoncé top 20 songs list. Dangerously In Love is largely bloody awful but it does have four classics so I'd put it on a par with 4.
