August 10, 201113 yr I am sgb 4.0 fans and i am big saturdays fan since if this is love, and i love this song so that thing that sugababes fans hate this track is bullshit
August 10, 201113 yr Not to add fuel to the fire about the tpoic discussed above but: Surely we should be happy that they are still making music and relasing singles and albums and going on tour. I mean, they are going to two tours in a year. The only other bands I can think of doing this is JLS and Steps. There is an obvious demand for the band, otherwise they wouldn't be selling tickets for an arena tour, which holds on average about 10,000 seats. Yes, you are obviously going to get the comparisons of Girls Aloud/Spice Girls/Sugababes, as they are successful bands, but that doesn't mean that the band aren't successful in their own right. Sometimes sales aren't everything, it's the whole package/industry and how they approach what they do. Yes, obviously sales can be important, so that they can make money and more records, but as long as they are still around and keeping the fans happy at least, then surely that is a good thing. I do, however, feel that the current management that they are with (Fascination) are not doing much right for the band. Yes, they have slightly improved with the AFU single formats, promo for the single, and they have been behind the Headlines Tour and now the All Fired Up Tour. But I always felt, and still feel that the band were better under the eye of Jayne and their management company. They seemed a much better choice of management. I somehow feel that the girls didn't really want to leave jayne, as she did 10x better than the current management (Work single promo aside I think) *Long post over*
August 10, 201113 yr There is a poll on DS asking which video is better - All Fired Up or Freedom. So far, 21 people have picked AFU and 20 people have picked Freedom :o I find this really shocking, because AFU is 100x better than Freedom!! And everyone on DS is critisizing the video :'( sob...
August 10, 201113 yr Tbf DS is full of complete r*t**** (on the forums anyway) :P All Fired Up is much better in my opinion, but I will say the reception of Freedom is generally better - though of course it will still not do as much as AFU chart wise.
August 10, 201113 yr Author Digital Spy is just a bunch of Saturdays bashers. I was routing through their All Fired Up thread and it's just full of negetivity. I think the best balance is on PopJustice. The Sats out-do Sugababes in every way in their video, even though I do like Freedom. Both are budget videos and simple in their own right, and strangely enough they did the complete oposite of what video concept the tracks should have had. I thought alot wasn't going on in All Fired Up and felt a bit samey after halfway through, but Freedom is the same thing the whole way through and there is no sence of direction at all. That's terrible considering Sugababes had a whole track to work with whereas The Sats had 6 lines of lyrics to come up with a decent video. Freedom has some nice lighting and effects, but you can't see what's going on half the time which is a problem. The Sats had some brilliant lighting and they portrayed the energy of the track in the lights and the water which was a fantastic piece of non-obvious creativity. Someone actually called the video for All Fired Up generic yet thought the video for Freedom wasn't. Lol-dumb-dumb-dumb-dumb
August 10, 201113 yr I thought that, DS members just seem to hate The Saturdays. They seem to hate everything actually, the whole forum is chock-full of music snobbery tbh.
August 10, 201113 yr It annoys me when people dislike a song because they dislike a band, All Fired up is a way better video than Freedom yet has got way more dislikes.
August 11, 201113 yr It annoys me when people dislike a song because they dislike a band, All Fired up is a way better video than Freedom yet has got way more dislikes. Mabye the dislikes aren't about the video, but the song? I like 'All Fired Up' now, but I hated it on first listen and can see why people would hate it.
August 11, 201113 yr Author http://popjustice.com/images/stories/j/saturdaysallfiredupartwortk.jpg Best sleeve by far I think! We're clearly not watching the same video!! The flood of colour is nice. Nice. It's an empty adjective.
August 11, 201113 yr The editing for the video is pretty bad, it just seems empty. However, the song has grown on me a lot now. :D The artwork is pretty great too.
August 11, 201113 yr This is my summer anthem  but I just don't see how the video relates  even if it does look rather good!
August 11, 201113 yr Everything about this single campaign has been great so far. Song: Perfect IMO Video: Great, Proffesional, Slick Single Cover: Lovely use of colours, and the font is back Support: Already C-List, Scott Mills Record of The Week Promo: Looks like they have a few good slots lined up, however they do need more, and they better sing live!
August 11, 201113 yr OH MY GOD OF POP. That's the mother of all covers! For me it was impossible they could get back to the level of CL's covers...but they have actually made the best one of all, or at least on pair with Up. Surprising that this happens after getting two of their worst covers in my opinion (Higher and Notorious).
August 11, 201113 yr Their last two covers (Calander & All Fired Up) have been perfect and something I would have liked being the album cover.
