September 6, 201113 yr Even if they're higher now, I don't think they'll be able to keep the distance with Pixie the rest of the week. Although we never know.
September 6, 201113 yr So they've sold about 46k in 2 days!!! That is so great for anyone, especially a girl band!!! I'm excited to see if they can top 100k in a week, i'm pretty sure they won't but if they did that would be better than a number 1 imo, cos there are less singles that do that than get number 1. I think topping 75k is very do able which would be great, yet a bit gutting if they sold that many but still didn't get number 1!
September 6, 201113 yr No encore, the ep of The Saturdays has obviously not been counted that's why there's another two versions that will be at least 2,000+ The Saturdays are basically at number one today combined. But both Ladykiller and I Need a Dollar are available on iTunes (well, I Need a Dollar was, as it was a pre-orders exclusive). So that's the reason they are showing it up. They chart as separate songs despite they come from the same pack, the AFU single.
September 6, 201113 yr 64,785 Just Can't Get Enough 57,157 Missing You 38,846 Forever Is Over 32,449 Higher 30,273 Notorious 28,719 Issues 26,959 Ego 26,593 Up 14,990 If This Is Love 14,902 Work Hopefully 'AFU' will be able to top this list, I'm pretty confident it will. :) Needs to sell around 19k to beat Missing You and 26k to beat JCGE. I'm hoping it manages to be their highest selling single also.
September 6, 201113 yr Author The sales from Ladykiller and I Need A Dollar will be added to All Fired Up in tomorrows update. I Need A Dollar was only available to download as a pre-order only - am I right in saying it could not be downloaded seperately (I think I am) as It was a pre-order bundle? Therefore OCC have messed up somehow by including it in todays update. I'm expecting Ladykiller to be combined with All Fired Up too. It's happened before quite a few times this year, one case that sticks out the most for me was Calvin Harris's b-side to Bounce, 'Awooga'. They should get their best first week opening sales with All Fired Up, I'm hoping around 70-80k which will be good for them as they're percieved as this front-loaded act (which they have been, but the sales have been so much stronger compared to other first week sales). I'm not that fussed on this getting to #1, even if for half an hour it did seem like it was going to. A Top 3 with some very healthy sales (ala Ego and Up) will do fine for this. They need the dollar for promotion and PR for their next single and album. Edited September 6, 201113 yr by 2ndAdventure
September 6, 201113 yr It is actually such a shame that the girls held off SO long to release this...if they released it last week they would likely have gone straight to number one, beating Example in the process, which would have been sweet for Rochelle I am thinking  Haven't a clue as to why they would want to release on such a competitive week...
September 6, 201113 yr The sales aren't for Ladykiller or I Need A Dollar. As written on Popjustice, they're the sales of the physicals / pre-orders from which they are included on. They're All Fired Up sales, not B Side sales in their own right. They've merely been titled as the B Side names in the midweeks. It is confusing, but it should hopefully be sorted out in time for tomorrow's midweeks, when all of the data is combined. There's no doubt a second 'Ladykiller' midweek way way down the chart (Top 500 or whatever), which are actually Ladykiller sales, lol.
September 7, 201113 yr The Sats just clinbed 5% this morning from 61% to 66%. :o Maroon 5 are still at 81%. Leona is at 50%.
September 7, 201113 yr Airplay is increasing quite fast and today they've got MASSIVE promotion on Capital's social media.
September 7, 201113 yr Despite promotion with Capital they're still falling fast on the iTunes chart. Leona's pulled the gap to 16% now. The Saturdays are unfortunatly not performing on Jonathan Ross meaning any boost they have will be limited, but I think it should be enough to remain at #2 with around 65,000+ sales, had they released last week they would have got to number one as the Number 1 iTunes boost is very effective. I hope their radio airplay continue to rise as I want them to remain top 5 next week. Irish iTunes - 14 & 30 (Combined = #6, they really are going into major freefall)
September 7, 201113 yr I don't understand why this is plummeting. It just seems like a cycle. :( I genuinely thought this was going to be their first hit.
September 7, 201113 yr I don't understand why this is plummeting. It just seems like a cycle. :( I genuinely thought this was going to be their first hit. I just had a panic as I thought they'd dropped from #3.. but they haven't? How is it plummeting, what have I missed? :o
September 7, 201113 yr MIne have also been dispatched at last! No doubt they will arrive when I'm halfway up a mountain getting soaked! Marvellous!
