Now that the video is out, hopefully 'Dirty Dancer' will go top 40. Music channels surely have to play it given that his last three singles have all gone top 10. Tbh this is the only release that is exciting me at the moment.

After watching that video, I wonder whether 'Dirty Dancer' could pose as a threat in the top 10 for the #1 spot. It's got club written all over it and includes Enrique and Usher; both respectively huge chart successes.

I do think the video, besides being very similar to Nero's 'Guilt', is far to sexualised - with all the media coverage on these type of videos; I reckon the music channels will be advised to play it less frequently - or at least wait until later on in the day.

Re: Jennifer Lopez

When I first saw 'I'm Into You' debut at #40, I honestly expected it to go downhill from there, but it proved me wrong week after week, managing to spend an amazing 3 weeks in the top 10. I think it did better than anyone could've expected, so I wouldn't count 'Papi' out of at least a top 15 placing come its release.

Interestingly aswell, even though I'm Into You was a post-album single, it had its radio premiere before the album was released.

#048 Snoop Dogg ft. T-Pain 'Boom'

#050 Foo Fighters 'Walk'

#053 Cascada 'San Francisco'

#078 Chase & Status ft. Tinie Tempah 'Hitz'

#103 Enrique Iglesias ft. Usher & Lil Wayne '

#109 Pitbull ft. Chris Brown 'International Love'

#142 Kelly Rowland 'Work (Freemasons Radio Edit)

MOREMOREMORE! :D

Calm down Rachel Stevens. :kink:

No :yahoo:

Has The Edge Of Glory up to #6 combined yet? :w00t:

The Wanted will probably have an even worse chart run and won't be that big. I mean, it's not even a summery song and is just plain bad.

What on earth are you on about? Glad You Came is summery as they get!

I was thinking the same actually. It reminds me of Stereo Love and On the Floor (i.e. VERY summery ).

Till I'm Gone by Tinie Tempah is #242!?!?!?!?! :o :o :o :cheer: :yahoo:

Oh my gosh. When did that happen!? I thought it wasn't released in like 2 months!! And I thought if it was released now, it's be a sure top 10 debut, given it's Tinie. :(

You did you get the comparison that it sounded like Stereo Love and On The Floor? Them 2 songs sound nothing alike and Glad You Came sounds nothing like either of them (imo)

Glad You Came is amazing. I see the Stereo Love comparisons, too.

Ooh, fantastic to see Till I'm Gone released now! Still far too long after the US release IMO but it's far better than having to wait until 7th of bloody August. Shall be interesting to see how quickly it can climb with pretty much no airplay or hype (aside from the automatic hype from it being Tinie ofc :P)

If only he'd released it last week, he could have kept up his top 100 streak.

I'm thinking specifically the chorus of Glad You Came.

I find the production on it very weird. The song sounds to me like it should be much louder, but it isn't. I had the same thing with Gold Forever too.

Yeah. I was just searching for all the Wiz Khalifa songs in the feed (I was looking to see if No Sleep had entered the top 1000 yet, as I guess that'll be his 3rd single), and then I saw Till I'm Gone, and I was like "Oh, okay then".

According to its iTunes release date, it was actually released like 5 days ago! :o

Might do another Hold It Against Me whom the release date was pushed forward and no-one realised lol.

SoundGirl - Don't Know Why #45 (Midweek - #37)

Parade - Perfume #56 (Midweek #29)

Does anyone thing these songs will miss the top 40?

They seem to have digitally re-released the album and its being cherrypicked from that

The single release will probably still be 7th August
