So Gaga has the Paul O Grady special at 9 and J-Lo is performing I'm Into You on Alan Carr 10pm+ So I wonder if we'll see significant climbs for Gaga and will IITY stay top 10 before she performs and then climbs possibly giving it a new peak on Sunday (#9 highest so far).

She needed to do something simple anyway, people are getting bored of the trying to be controversial. I personally think though it isnt simple AND effective unfortunately. It will climb again at least though, and it'll do pretty well, not sure if it'll get back top 10 but who knows with big tv support, Paul O Grady and i'm sure increased radio play with Judas leaving rapidly it could be a big-ish hit. Doing very well in the US!

Video effects are pronounced and obvious in almost all cases. There are countless examples of videos boosting songs up the chart, and given that Adele is a major artist these days, there is no way the video channels won't be lapping her video up and bumming it non-stop when it is released.

 

That should shoot SFTTR into the top 10 on iTunes, if it hasn't got there already.

I LOVE that idea. Americano NEEDS to be 4th single anyway. Cast Jennifer Lopez as the girl from East LA, get her to sing the Spanish parts (let's be honest, I love Gaga but her Spanish is awful) and you have yourself a late summer smash.

I couldn't sit through it. I'm not even slightly religious, but the whole thing of it was really getting on my nerves.

Set Fire To The Rain #17 :w00t: Cant get over how high it is already. #30 in todays mids, top 25 come Sunday at least. A video is guaranteed to send it in the top 10, and even higher, top 3 for SFTTR at the least, even though it should be #1 as its epic.

The Edge of Glory video is nothing short of a boring disaster. Simple and beautiful? Please. I just can't imagine the album lasting past Christmas to be honest (as much as I enjoy the entire thing) although I'd love to be proven wrong. Her management have been on point with promotion but everything else has been handled dreadfully. She needs to get rid of the yes-men.
