To be fair Example thinks he can sing, he cant sing for $h!t. Alexandra would blow him off the stage with her vocals. He may write a hit, but vocally he isnt very good, stick to rapping example.

I wouldnt say he was horrible, i think he's a bit cheecky and comes across as rude, but lads like him are just taking the p*** and trying to have a laugh but they dont see others wont just sit there and take it or laugh along, he shoud expect a backlash.

 

Wonder if it'll be in news, or impact iTunes. :rofl:

Compared to artists like Rihanna, Alexandra is a saint...

Example has hit out at Alexandra Burke's new single.

 

On his Twitter account the rapper blasted The X Factor winner's new single 'Start Without You' and offered to write her a "better" track.

 

"Did Simon Cowell actually approve this new Alexandra Burke song?" he wrote. "She’s a gorgeous talented girl and deserves better material."

 

He continued: "Seriously Simon I’ll write a better song than that - call me. I mean it's catchy. But so was the song for Kia-Ora."

 

Faced with an angry response from the ''All Night Long'' singer's fans, he responded: "Look if I'm offending you just stop following me. I'm only saying what we're all thinking - Alexandra deserves better."

 

Burke recently confirmed that the single's release date had been pushed back to September 5.

 

Gosh. So many people were so cruel to Alexandra about that song. :( I loved it. People were lost for words when it was the first 2-weeker at #1 in months. :lol:

 

Maybe Example actually DID offer to write Alex a better song, and she turned him down, so now he hates her. :lol:

 

That's what happened with Calvin Harris and JLS. He offered to produce a song for them, but they turned it down apparently, and then months later he's ranting about how Eyes Wide Shut ripped him off. Bitter, much? :lol:

To be honest, all this Example battle made me follow him on Twitter. :lol: He's a great personality with a good sense of humour. It's a shame that people perceive his phrases so directly.

He thinks Alexandra is "gorgeous", and he fancies The Saturdays. So clearly he has FANTASTIC taste in girls. :heart: :wub: :heart:

 

But other than that, he just releases a really good song every now and then... :coffee:

 

I don't think anything he does will ever top his section in Game Over though.

He doesn't (well didn't) hate Alexandra it seems. It's just it's hard to get out what you mean over the internet, without it sounding rude and I think it's just a mis-understanding now tbh. Although he is still a knob and has an arrogance that is only bettered by Kanye's, Estelle's and Calvin's. (We'll ignore the fact that he is excellent live, as it has no relevance to this at all)

Kanye was very gracious about it when Hold It Against me beat H.A.M to iTunes #1. :lol: And Estelle seems like a lovely too, if you ignore her personality.

I do think Kanye has some humour with his arrogance, but most of the time it is awful. (His banter with Brit was hilarious and then LOL at Avril trying to get in on it ha! BLESS. :wub:) Estelle I will never understand why she did so well with that song. I just remember seeing interviews of her and stuff and I don't like the way she seems to think she's better than everyone else.

 

EDIT: Oh and I think I've realised I may have been a bit harsh on Example. I'm sure his "arrogance" is just actually mis-interpreted by me. I'm sure he's a good guy and doesn't mean to offend anyone. (Apart from Cher! :arrr:)

I know what you mean, Example comes across as very arrogant sometimes.

 

Good on SWY for being number 1 for 2 weeks.

"Start Without You" is a really fun song :).

 

I like "Louder" too, it's a really clever song IMO.

Vato Gonzalez up 1 place to #15. Im surprised he is not top 10 yet.
Unsurprisingly, Bryan Adams 'Everything I do...' jumped from 636 to 194, thanks to *that* Robin Hood movie appearing on C5 last night... :P
