I'm guessing this is also a bit too early but nevertheless, I shall be asking people for opinions on my next BJSC entry after me inevitable DNQ. Pretty sure I've decided but I'd like to confirm my instincts so here are my 2 potentials for anyone who have some spare time in hand and would like to help!

Girl's Day - Expectation

T-ara - I Go Crazy Because Of You

Girl's Day fights for Daehun in BJSC LIII with "Expectation"

http://25.media.tumblr.com/a10635a3d7af36db63056eec25b3bd07/tumblr_mjmt0qfyWJ1qlopyto1_500.gif

Following our disasterous outcome of a DNQ last month, Daehun has decided to send our song of the year "Expectation" in a bid to return back to the finals. Probably semi-known now due to the veto-gate this song caused partially, it has a Nicki Minaj's Pound The Alarm feel to the song during the verses before exploding into a catchy hook of "oooh oooh ooh oohh" accompanied by the continuous butt dance during the choreography of the song. We hope other fellow nations like it as much as we do and as usual, any feedback in terms of praises/criticisms are highly welcome below!

In the meantime, here is the music video for the song:

Girl's Day places #11 in BJSC LIII, just missing out the Top 10 on a draw

With "Expectation" receiving 113 points in the latest BJSC contest, Girl's Day finishes at a respectable position of #11 thus recovering from last month's failure to qualify to the final. It loosely managed to just miss the Top 10 by drawing with fellow nation Aquafina, giving it our 6th most pointed song in the final so far (behind Girl's Generation, Ailee, Rebecca Stella, Seo In Young and Samantha Jade). Positioned at #11 on the scoreboard, this also debuts at our own Daehun entry ranking at 7th based on the finishing position of the entry. We would like to thank all to those who pointed Girl's Day and managed to make a discovery out of it.

In other news...

Daehun is looking set to send their most "indie"-orientated entry during next month's veto-free contest. The said entry is deemed uninspired by us and will have no trouble getting through the veto had the system been in place, on top of the entry being English language based and not Asian. We look forward to seeing every nation soon.

With 'Wild', Nine Muses have become a first time sponsor for Daehun in BJSC. This marks the ladies' debut to the Buzzjack Song Contest as their first time appearance within this contest. The song is described as a catchy K-Pop tune, much like our last entry and is filled with a hooky rap along with chorus. Any feedback to the song is welcome below!

In the meantime, here is the YouTube link to it..

Daehun flops for the second time this year...

Without further dwelling on this issue for too long, Nine Muses placed 20th on Semi-Final 2 with 40 points which to date is our second lowest performing entry in BJSC. For next month, we've opt to switch things up a little bit and to provide a greater risk whether it'd pay off is another story. Rumours have swept the nation that J-Pop will be used next and it's heavily speculated it's by one of the greatest Asian divas of all time spiced up with her heavy vocals accompanied by a rock instrumental.

QUEEN (Namie who?) of J-Pop competes for Daehun with 'Microphone'

J-Pop's most beloved Queen & newly-turned flop competes with her album track 'Microphone' off her studio album "Rock'N'Roll Circus" for Daehun in BJSC LV. This is a test entry by us as the track is described to be a Rock-Pop song with lyrics emphasising on unwillingness to let go of someone beloved who has formed the individual's characteristics. We hope you would all (unlikely) enjoy this entry and absolutely any feedback of any sort is welcome below!

Namie Amuro becomes the next J-Pop queen to compete with us, reaches the final

Late announcement from DaeNews but Namie Amuro officially competes for Daehun with her new album track 'Alive' off her highly anticipated new album FEEL which was recently released. With 'Alive', Namie becomes the second consecutive female solo artist to compete for our nation after sending numerous K-Pop artists towards the start of 2013. Last night, she was announced as a qualifier to go straight to the final rounds from semi-final 2. We wish all contestants good luck and commiserations to those who failed to proceed through to the final round.

In other news..

Daehun's new "health and image" law is put in place

After much consideration from the government, it has now been put into place that all male citizens of Daehun from the ages of 12-18 shall be thoroughly trained everyday during the school hours to have at least 2 hours of physical activity in order to promote the image of our nation as a whole. Females from the same age as the male will also be put into place but instead, they will be trained in the cardio area with emphasis on trimming the legs compared to the male's weight lifting focus. "We would like to encourage all of our nation's young citizens to have the image like the K-Pop females/boys thus it's necessary to have this law put in place", states Emperor Daehyun. "With this, hopefully everyone shall be able to keep fit and promote a healthier lifestyle in Daehun".

So recovering from the floppiness and a new year means a new start to this thread.

We've sent "Indila" this contest and this marks a change as the first foreign entry of ours to not be Asian so any comments below would be appreciated on it.. (there will be none..)
