Worst character in EE? Are you for real?

To be honest I've never been a fan of her

And why are they letting Zoe Lucker go again? She stole the show tonight. Carol is such a bitch.

Vanessa totally stole tonight's episode. I don't think I've ever empathised for a character as much as I do for her at the moment. Carol's coming out of it all very badly too which is a shame as I LOVE her, but sometimes she suffers from the "Peggy Mitchell syndrome" of putting her family above all else without reason or logic.

This week is going to be really good, I can feel it.

Vanessa's meltdown last night was absolutely ICONIC.

"Bubbly's... in the... fridge?"

*TEARS down curtain*

"BUBBLY'S IN THE FRIDGE?!??!?!"

Zoe Lucker was AMAZING last night, I've never been a fan but she certainly won me over last night!

Oh, I completely agree. No matter who owns the house, Vanessa absolutely deserved to live there, let alone be dragged out of it! Another great episode tonight; Zoe Lucker and Steve John Shepherd were my highlights in the acting department. :D

Tonight didn't exactly live up to the lofty standards set by BUBBLY IN THE FRIDGE!!! (which is absolutely the new YOU'RE NOT MY MUVVA!!!) but it was still excellent. I love the whirlwinds of various emotions Vanessa went through in about thirty minutes. Also Jodie is proving exceptional value of late.

Oh, I definitely agree on your point about Jodie. I loved the new side to her we saw last night (as much as I love Poppy, she can get fairly annoying at times). The hug with Jodie and Lauren was such a nice scene amidst the heartbreak of the rest of the ep yesterday. Makes me sad about the Darren spoiler, as it'll just give her more heartbreak. :(
Ya Vanessa definitly had a whirwind of emotions tonight and it sgreat to see her playing such big parts in the episodes aswell as its long overdue. Tanya aswell is doing a great job, you can tell she is just cold with shock fear and dread she will get the dreaded news and end up like her father.

LOLOL.

Mandy's return spoiler:

EastEnders airs Mandy Salter's comeback scenes later this month as Nicola Stapleton reprises the role after 17 years away from Albert Square.

The build-up to the tearaway's return begins when Ian Beale receives an invite to join the Moons as they celebrate Anthony's birthday at a strip club. However, the visit doesn't go to plan and the men all end up abandoning the idea before they've even entered the building.

Later, Ian decides to make a return trip to the club alone and when he arrives, he spots a hard-looking man throwing a blonde woman out of the venue. To Ian's surprise, the woman calls out to him and he recognises her as Mandy.

Although Ian refuses to acknowledge Mandy, he's soon left stunned when she grabs him and kisses him. The bouncer then pulls her back and things turn nasty as Ian is punched.

Ian rushes back to his car to make his escape, but Mandy begs him to let her in too. Will Ian decide to save Mandy?

A Walford source commented: "Ian can't believe his eyes when he sees Mandy being thrown outside of the club but, wanting to avoid the unpleasant situation, he refuses to acknowledge her.

"Mandy doesn't let him get away with this and she grabs him and kisses him, infuriating the bouncer who realises Ian lied to him. What mess has Mandy got herself into?"

 What an amazing FB group, I am SO liking that!
Shirly and Dot smoking in the back seat was legendary.

Kat/Alfie/Jack spoiler:

Alfie finds out about Tanya's cancer before she tells anybody else. They strike up a friendship and Kat becomes paranoid which sparks a possible affair with Jack.

Alfie and Tanya? That's quite an odd pairing, but also bizarrely one I could imagine working.

I ADORE Bubbly In The Fridge. Monday and Tuesday's episodes made me genuinely sad that EE couldn't find a way to keep Zoe Lucker on board, as I'm sure it COULD have been done. They only have themselves to blame for keeping her in the background for so long. She's proving now that she's quite capable of mingling with the rest of the Square without Max, so why they never bothered before now I'll never fathom. Perhaps the biggest f***-up of recent years.

Bubbly's in the fridge was one of the funniest scenes from eastenders! There is such a hilarious remix of it on youtube with Pow and Next Hype on in background, may have already been posted in the thread, its just so funny!

Kat and Jack could be interesting actually. Though this also means more misery between her and Alfie which I think we can do without.

They've finally announced that the other Branning brother Derek has been cast. He's joining later in the year. He was a racist bast*rd the last time he appeared in the 90s (different actor) so it'll be interesting to see whether he's changed.
