June 19, 201114 yr Just as well. I'm 30 years old and remember 'Boom Boom Boom' by The Outhere Brothers. They were the LMFAO of 1995. That seems like my type of thing. I should probably check that out (in the next 9 months before I turn 20 so I don't forget it straight away (NOTE: I'M JOKING EVERYONE )).
June 19, 201114 yr Author 1 (from 1) Example - Changed The Way You Kiss Me [D] *2nd week at #1* http://a1.mzstatic.com/us/r30/Music/3c/8b/93/mzi.zelnpzdh.100x100-75.jpg Chart Run: 1-1 [2 wks] Release date: 05-06-2011 Format: download only single Label: Ministry Of Sound Video here: CLXt3yh2g0s Chart history (Year peak title): 2009 19 Watch The Sun Come Up 2010 06 Won't Go Quietly 2010 03 Kickstarts 2010 27 Last Ones Standing 2010 29 Monster (Professor Green Feat. June 19, 201114 yr Bounce so deserved #1. Its miles better than the awful Changed The Way You Kiss Me. Kelis will never get a #1 in the UK will she :(
June 19, 201114 yr The A Team is as indie as Bruno Mars' Lazy Song. That's stretching it a bit. It's not indie but it's far more indie than anything else in the top 40.
June 19, 201114 yr I'm glad Calvin isn't number 1, as good as it is, its far from his best and Example is the much better track :D
June 19, 201114 yr 1 (from 1) Example - Changed The Way You Kiss Me [D] *2nd week at #1* http://a1.mzstatic.com/us/r30/Music/3c/8b/93/mzi.zelnpzdh.100x100-75.jpg Justice prevails for another week. Such a shame this will more than likely change come next Sunday. :puke:
June 19, 201114 yr I quite like this top 2. Although I would've preferred Calvin to be #1 since Example has already been #1. Bounce sounds like Gameboy music a bit. :D
June 19, 201114 yr That's stretching it a bit. It's not indie but it's far more indie than anything else in the top 40. Coldplay?
June 19, 201114 yr Author Very Predictable Top 10!! Only because you looked at the midweeks  I wouldn't have been able to predict some of it over a week ago.
June 19, 201114 yr "Bounce" is quite pleasant, may have been even better as an instumental. I agree. I do hope in the years to come a lot of these dance songs we're getting can become hits in their instrumental form. I did actually hear the instrumental of Beautiful People played on the radio once though, so that's a good sign. :D
June 19, 201114 yr Coldplay? Anything else in the top 40 except Coldplay. (And the few artists who are 'indie' in the OCC definition, such as Adele and Example and I think a couple of others?)
June 19, 201114 yr Such a great top 3! Actually, I reckon this is a really great top 10 now that Bruno Mars has been pushed out. Although another #1 for Harris would've been nice, I think Example staying at the peak is deserving - it's definitely the song of the Summer. Nice to have Kelis make an appearance in the top 10 again too.
