The audience seemed pretty bored to me.

Were you even watching? They were going crazy. Every close up was of someone screaming their heads off and when she went down there during 'Halo', wow were they into it.

Nope they were bored, seen a few sleeping myself

Same people hating all the time

Anyone who says the audience looked bored are clearly kidding themselves. They were going nuts screaming, whistling and shouting. I was shocked at how much they sang along. Plus she gave an amazing performance. She's the best performer we have at the moment, I don't think anyone else could have pulled that off.

Bar Halo, Girls & Irreplaceable, the audience just didn't seem interested at all.

I think the loudest cheer of her set went to Wayne Rooney when he appeared behind her on one of the videos.

I know, I even saw someone get out their slippers and a hot water bottle.

The audience were also interested during Crazy In Love, Single Ladies, all of the Destiny's Child songs, all of the covers, If I Were A Boy, Sweet Dreams and even Why Don't You Love Me and End Of Time. The song that probably got the weakest reception was '1+1', but even still - she got a good reception.
No way. They were MENTAL, especially when she done 'Run The World (Girls)'.
Surely (well from what I heard) the crowd were most mental on 'Irreplaceable'. That's seriously gone on to be an anthem of our generation. It never fails to get a strong reaction.

I'm pretty sure the iPlayer/Glastonbury page will have the full set to view soon enough (if it's not on there already) ^_^.

My Beyoyo song rankage:

01. 'Listen'

02. 'Irreplaceable'

03. 'Just Stand Up' --- :kink:

03. 'Check On It' --- I don't get the hate for THIS :(

04. 'Radio' --- Silly woman for releasing the likes of 'Ego' and 'Diva' over this -_-

05. 'Ave Maria'

06. The Best I Never Had'

07. 'If I Were A Boy'

08. 'Halo'

Not much else from her registers with me. 'Telephone' I class as a GaGa song, so I'm not including it. Even so it'll probably be 9th. 'Sweet Dreams' and 'Single Ladies' have gone on to be over played by radio, particularly the former. 'Crazy In Love' I've always found to be quite bleh. Never really loved it...

The best song she did with Destiny's Child is easily 'Lose My Breath' though  GUTTED that wasn't in the DC medley she did :(

I absolutely LOVE 'Diva'. I don't get all the hate for it, the same case with RTW(GIRLS). :(

This. I actually love Diva and RTW(G)! :kink:

It's not really about how she is as a performer though.

When you're at the last night of a festival, the last thing you'd probably most want to do is go and listen to some woman try and belt out Etta James to an audience that quite frankly couldn't really give a shit. OH WAIT, THAT HAPPENED.

She also belted out all of her songs as well. She was flawless. Her vocals were amazing, and so was her dancing.

But hater's gon' hate whether you doing bad or good.

Pathetic.

Anyway,

114. Beyonce - Best Thing I Never Had

Okay. Since people don't normally follow the progress of album tracks, I thought I'd do a comparison, so we have an idea of how well Best Thing I Never Had is doing:

At 7:52, on the morning Love the Way You Lie was released:

[198]211| Kelis - 4th Of July (Fireworks)

[000] 212| Eminem & Rihanna - Love The Way You Lie

[230] 270| Faithless - Tweak Your Nipple (Tiesto Remix)

And at 7:02, on the morning Best Thing I Never Had was released:

[000]108| Beyoncé - Best Thing I Never Had

So lets do the maths. Best Thing I Never Had is almost top 100 after 7 hours of release, and Love the Way You Lie wasn't even top 200 after 8 hours.

So it's doing incredibly well so far. It's officially bigger than Love the Way You Lie.

Bar Halo, Girls & Irreplaceable, the audience just didn't seem interested at all.

That's a lie and you know it. Why even bother saying it?

Beyonce was amazing and anyone who thinks otherwise is mentally retarded

So it'll stall quicker than LTWYL did :P

Eminem also didn't have that coveted Glastonbury headline slot and didn't get put onto the B-List/any playlist until a few weeks after it started charting :P

30- Run The World (Girls) [single Verison]

54- Best Thing I Never Had

71- Irreplaceable

86- Halo

What a stupid comparison.

LTWYL had no airplay, where-as beyonce has been B listed on Radio 1, it's being played ALL the time on Capital Fm (And probably on other stations) Plus she was the headline act at Glasto...With coverage on BBC 2, Plus shes one of the most anticipated headliners as she's the first female for nearly 25 years to Headline.

Also, she performed on American idol I believe or another Big US Tv show so this would also had a bit of an impact on Youtube etc etc...

Edited by Mr. C. Joel

She didn't perform 'The Best Thing I Never Had' at American Idol, did she? So that performance is irrelevant, sorta.
Beyonce is most talented female singer and performer at this moment  I much prefer her to gross GaGa and dull Adele
