So happy that she is Number 1. Just when it seemed like this era was a non-starter, she sorts it all out!

Not that I wanna P!ss on the Beyonce fire... but having heard TBTINH - I cant say I was overwhelmed, sure its better than RTW; but then again the sound is absolutely dreadful - so anything would be an improvement.

 

From a chart POV and a view of closeness of number 1 come sunday it will be interesting; but IMO its replacing one not great number 1 with another

DWGH is actually growing on me quite a bit now, so BTINH would probably overtake it as the third worst #1 of the year after PRA and Grenade IMO if it does get there. Although BTINH isn't awful. PRA and Grenade are the only awful #1s so far this year, while DWGH and WRWWR (and BTINH if it gets there) are 'meh' #1s.

Have to agree alightly here - DWGH is (slighlty) growing on me... and agreed on the meh thing with BTINH - it seemed bland to me nothing spectacular and run of the mill Bonce

BTINH will be one of the best no.1s of the year so far for me if it gets there, right now the best would be Someone Like You. PRA is deffo the worst :puke: Jason would be near the bottom, but I do really like DWGH. Actually, PRA is the only no.1 I dislike this year, the second worst no.1 thus far in 2011 (The Lazy Song) is still a 7/10.

'Don't Wanna Go Home' and 'Party Rock Anthem' are the two worst #1s we have had for a very long time.

Great to see SFTTR climbing again, #17 is a new peak I think? Or at least matching its old peak anyway. It's fallen to #26 on the mids (#28, but two Coldplay B-Sides are ahead due to an error) but hopefully it can at least be a non-mover by Sunday. It really does need to get a move on and get in the top 10 soon though!

I THINK Set Fire To The Rain has made #16! (Actually wait i think i wanted it to climb to #16 last time and it went back down :heehee:) so yep #17 is its peak so far. Looks good for it to climb officially again this week then hopefully even if it is just a few places again, #20 would be nice for this week. :) and then hopefully a video is coming! I'm a bit concerned that i havent heard ANYTHING about a video, surely it must have been recorded already? I'll be so annoyed if it hasnt even been filmed yet, i mean come on! I know Adele is really busy but she needs a video out there for this incredible song. :wub: The support from TV would be huge, (we've already seen great radio support, #4 peak, #7 last week).

Beyoncé would be a 9/10 so already better than all but three for me. I wouldn't say that I hate any of the #1's but Don't Wanna Go Home and The Lazy Song aren't songs I'd listen to out of choice. When We Collide, Grenade and Changed The Way You Kiss Me are all between average and good and then the others have all been quite strong for me, notably On The Floor and What's My Name, which as I revealed the other week, are both already amongst my all time top 40 songs ever! :o Both a lot better than any #1 from 2010 anyway...

BTINH has a practically nonexistant lead at #1 at the moment, if it doesn't expand massively it could easily do a TEOG (although it probably wouldn't miss the top 5).
