#47 - Man Down

I get an odd feeling that this will be a slow burner and will become a huge hit in the next couple of months. Especially when radio jump on it.

It's the 'BJSC' effect. Slightly smaller than the 'Loose Women' and 'Alan Titchmarsh' effect, but better than the 'Midweek National Lottery Balls' effect.

Ha! :D

Yeah definitely, it'd be a huge achievement if her 5th single went top 10 too, off such a successful album, thats the only thing which will hold it back, its off a massive album, but such a summer-vibe to it.

and Saturdays will miss top 20!

The Saturdays will not miss the top 20! They Have Graham Norton tomorrow & T4 & Friday Download on Saturday. They should end up around #18. Next week Will be it's major climb with This Morning, DayBreak, Lorraine, Graham Norton(repeat),

It gets repeated on a Monday night :D

you might get a shag at the dance :P Much more fun than staying in.

Who actually watches shows like Paul O Grady and Graham Norton? I don't see how it has such a big effect. I guess any promotion is good promotion though  I don't mind the new Sats song, it's their 2nd best behind 'Up' so it returning to the T20 is good with me

Erm, loads of people do? I am not that keen on Paul O'Grady but Graham Norton is normally fantastic. Both get fantastic ratings, with Graham in Johnathan's old slot, so I don't see how that isn't good promotion.

OK ... I haven't seen the ratings, so I was assuming it was one of those shows that only rack up a few million and get more older viewers (25 and up - and take note I said 'older' not 'old') who won't buy into Sats etc. Anyway any promotion is good promotion :D

That is very much not the case. His audience is basically the same as Johnathan's. It boosted Aloe to #2 a few weeks back and helped Nicole quite a bit on pop bars despite not changing position. I think it could boost them up a good bit.

Turning Tables #189  This has to be her winter single, an X Factor Performance of this would be out of this world.

This hasnt left the top 200 since the album was released (I think) it must of sold a fair amount already  Its so beautiful.

It's been in the official top 200 for 14 of its 21 weeks on sale. It does have very good sales for a #62 peak. Nu Don't Stop Believin' (before that re-peaked)? :kink:

That #62 peak is going to be beaten without a doubt, even without a release (it better be released!) i think it'd be performed on X Factor and then make top 40 on the back of that alone  :heehee:

I hope ADELE re-issues her album at X Factor time and releases a brand new single, just so she can get even more sales in a calender year. A performance on the show is vital as well
^ don't count on that, she's said she hates re-issues apparently, and was very annoyed when her label released one of 19

Shame, I would have liked to seen an album from this generation get in the top 10 sellers of all time - even if it's ADELE who isn't one of my favourite artists. ADELE probably doesn't care if the albums sells over 4 million or not - she must be so rich with her being really popular atm

21 will probably end up quite high on the all-time best seller list tbh :D And you don't need to put Adele in all capitals ;)
