'Comedown' >>> 'You Said You Loved Me' > 'What It Feels Like' >> 'Be The One' > 'Sexual'

'Sexual' will obviously have its fans but I'm not one of them, a little bit dull for me unforch. The top 3 here are actually surprisingly quite good, especially 'Comedown', really liking the production on that! So of course you're probably gonna go with 'Sexual' :heehee:

I was considering ‘What It Feels Like’ myself, but I’d totally forgotten it was Nina on vocals! Do really like it though, so if you can sneak it in I’d definitely support it.

‘Sexual’ is pleasant but I didn’t really think it ever reached a ‘wow’ moment. I find the vocals on that and ‘You Said You Loved Me’ a bit off-putting too. Emmi’s just kinda reaches a plateau halfway through.

PUZZLE is great, quite alluring and very rhythmic - and as you say, v different for Ramrynia! Also like ‘Be The One’, very classic pop with some great moments.

RANK! What It Feels Like > Comedown > Be The One >>>>> Sexual >>> You Said You Loved Me

And that’s the advice from a persistent flop country, laters.

I am also vaguely considering Sexual but I'm not CRAZY about it so I'll release it to your clutches as I do have other possibilities and am on the search.

Many thanks for all of the feedback so far, just so you are all kept in the loop here are 2 final potentials I have considered over the past couple of days. I can guarantee Ramrynia's entry for BJSC 87 will be one of the seven songs I have posted in here! I promise if this exhibition ever happens again, it will happen much closer to the confirmations opening so that I don't keep thinking of more songs in the few days before-hand.

SONG 6: On dirait performed by Amir

'On dirait' was originally lined up to be Ramrynia's 50th anniversary entry to soundtrack a special video about our history of entries. This video fell through due to myself not having the skills needed to make it look like someone other than a 2 year old had made it and the song naturally made way for Cilia. Nevertheless with a shiny new lyric video, Amir is back on the scene as a front-running potential for Ramrynia's BJSC 87 entry with his fantastically summery, catchy pure pop song!

SONG 7: Should Have Surrendered performed by RBECKA

Originally rejected from being part of the first 5 due to 'Be The One' being RBECKA's entry into the exhibition, we think this pop-rock entry nevertheless deserves attention and is just as strong a contender as 'Be The One'.

I don't expect anymore feedback guys (although you can if you so desire!), but I just didn't want my entry to end up being a random one that was seemingly never in contention! I will also try and reply to a few more threads over the next few days, I'm getting round them slowly!

Those are both pretty standard / ok but this RBECKA one is better than the previous one. x They're probably 5th and 4th respectively in my ranking of the 7 :magic:

NEIKED and Sabrina Carpenter have both seen Ramrynia continue a run of solid top 20 finishes started by Cilia in BJSC 86 and we now hope to make it four-in-a-row with what we think could be our BIGGEST pop song in years...

BJSC 89: White Water performed by MY

"a majestic piece of pop music with an epic chorus playing out over a dramatic, rock-flavoured, cinematic pop soundscape"

"it starts off with moody guitar before exploding into life with impressive vocal gymnastics, huge drums and glorious 80s synths. Emotionally wrought, dramatic and with hooks as big as you like, MY is definitely on the right track with this song"

"all roads lead to ABBA and you can kind of hear those influences in MY's luxurious, big-chorused debut single 'White Water', which is excellent"

"this one packs an almighty punch…"

White Water begins with a gorgeous chilled dance sound that showcases MY's vocal, which takes on a Loreen-esque tone for a couple of moments during the song. As the drums come in, you feel the song is building up to something and that something is an absolutely MASSIVE chorus with elements of rock and is certain to blow your mind (mwah!). This is the ultimate throwback to Ramrynia's peak in the contest with the mega-successful "Some Of Us" and "Wasting Water", scandipop at its very finest.

The chorus of this is beginning to REALLY hit me! It just sounds huge when it comes around and packs such a punch *.*

One of your best to date~
