July 3, 201113 yr Author Not exactly the most sophisticated lyrics ever. :P Unfortunately their fanbase will probably see it to #1 regardless...
July 3, 201113 yr Definitely a #1, I 'want' it to go #11-20 I guess at best but it's never going to go anywhere near that low.
July 3, 201113 yr It's a certainty for number one, but i would love it to miss - because it would be the worst number one of the year if it got there. I want it to go 21 - 40 but JLS have never missed T10 let alone the top 20. I would have said below 40 if Dev wasnt in it - shes the best part of the song but her verse has some really bad lyrics (eating icys, drinking bubblegum drinks, counting all our moneys) JLS just get worse with every album, there is no originality in this song at all and teenage girls should move on tp The Wanted as their new single is much better (still bad imo but better than SMMW)
July 3, 201113 yr Author JLS just get worse with every album, there is no originality in this song at all and teenage girls should move on tp The Wanted as their new single is much better Or just take cold showers instead?
July 3, 201113 yr It will probably go straight to number one, but I want Top 10, just becuase it have Dev in it!
July 3, 201113 yr Oh oh oh oh, in the bin bin bin bin. * forgot to say between 2 and 5. Edited July 3, 201113 yr by suggy
July 3, 201113 yr Just listened to 'She Makes Me Wanna' for the first time and... :manson: I don't know which track is worse - this or 'The Club Is Alive'. Terrible!!! Purely because it's JLS I'd guess this will probably be a one week wonder but plummet downwards from week 2 onwards. However, I'd be pleased to see this miss the top spot. 'TCIA' definitely didn't deserve to be #1 last year so I hope this misses the top spot too. Do the record company seriously think this is the best single to introduce their new album? I'm voting Between 2 & 5 - I reckon this will peak at #2
July 3, 201113 yr Author Remarkable results so far - 14/18 *think* it'll be #1, but only 2/18 *want* it to be...
July 3, 201113 yr DISGUSTING. They started off OK considering what they are but their material just keeps getting poorer and poorer. Evidently I think it will be #1 unless a song is strong enough to stop it. Personally, I'd rather it never saw the light of day. May I add that wherever it charts it'll be lucky to spend 10 weeks in the top 75. I can't see it catching on with the 'normal' public regardless of how generic it sounds, Edited July 3, 201113 yr by GrAmii
July 3, 201113 yr Author I must admit it's a relief that lots of other people aren't keen on it, too - I assumed it was just me & my anti-urban(*)/anti-XF views again. (*) I consider it R&B, therefore techncially urban, even if it is on the pop end of R&B... Edited July 3, 201113 yr by vidcapper
July 3, 201113 yr this song is lazy, generic rubbish even by their standards, it just sounds like the producer took a load of samples of 'summer hit' and just mashed them altogether in one track I think it will be number 1, with a chart run and sales similar or less than The Club is Alive Edited July 3, 201113 yr by Chart Wizard
July 3, 201113 yr it will be an extremely front loaded number one with no longevity. Are they releasing ANOTHER album already? What happened to releasing an album and promoting that for two years and getting biggest sales possible, rather than just go for loads of albums for the sake of more number one singles? Its beyond me.
July 3, 201113 yr I think an album a year is fine, personally. Rihanna and Lady Gaga do pretty much an album a year aswell. Anyway, I do like some JLS songs, but I hate this. It's just too generic, and really boring. I prefer The Club is Alive.
I really don't like it when artists do this, I'm not generalising but in some (not all) cases it just proves they want more success and number 1s and that takes priority over the music, I personally think sometimes albums need time and commitment to make the very best, not rush releasing something every year, its technically a 'good' marketing strategy that gets a quick hit, but it doesn't show that much regard for the actual music imo :( Edited July 3, 201113 yr by Chart Wizard
July 3, 201113 yr Surely if the british public only got Notorious to no.8 then we can understand decent music by now and NOT make this no.1. Seriously hoping it flops HARD. JLS are talented, but this doesnt deserve to called a "hit". Lazy, awful lyrics
July 3, 201113 yr I have to say I do actually quite like this  I think it'll be number 1 and I want top 5. Never thought I'd be saying anything by JLS is better than anything by The Saturdays, but I'll admit I prefer this to Notorious :o Edited July 3, 201113 yr by Liаm
July 3, 201113 yr this is one of the worst songs i have heard in years! this needs to FLOP! it will teach JLS that they cant keep releasing this rubbish and still go number 1
July 4, 201113 yr Author it will be an extremely front loaded number one with no longevity. Are they releasing ANOTHER album already? What happened to releasing an album and promoting that for two years and getting biggest sales possible, rather than just go for loads of albums for the sake of more number one singles? Its beyond me. I've always reckoned that two years is an appropriate interval between albums. The first year or so can then be used for promoting/touring, with the rest of the time used for writing & recording material for the next album.
