Posted July 10, 201114 yr Just found this new dance song which has over a million views. I know I'm not the first to know about this in the forum but no-one's made a thread about it yet. Could it be a surprise hit? It sounds a bit like 'We No Speak Americano' -d6b1yn-YhQ "when I came to Spain and I saw people party, I told to myself, what the f**k" Europe sucess: Denmark Top 40 (2-1-1) (3 weeks) Dutch Top 40 (13-3-1-1) (4 weeks) Belgium Top 50 (36-7) (2 weeks) Sweden Top 60 (42-27-18-17) (4 weeks) Edited July 10, 201114 yr by danielMFAO
July 10, 201114 yr I love this! It's trashy as hell and it knows it but it's all part of the appeal  I'd expect it to be a bit more marmite than We No Speak Americano, so I don't think it would be a #1, but could be a mid-low top ten hit here with promotion. It would go down well in the clubs anyway.
July 10, 201114 yr It's #1 here in the Netherlands. This song pretty much sums up what's wrong with pop music these days. I'd say it's one of the worst songs of 2011, but there are SO MANY. Not my cup of tea.
July 10, 201114 yr This is pretty good, I can see myself becoming annoyed of it if it does make it big though (overplay).
July 10, 201114 yr "when I came to Spain and I saw people party, I told to myself, what the f**k" Thanks Daniel ! All this time I thought she was saying "when I came to Spain and I saw people farting, I thought to myself what the f***"....strong dutch accent...lol
July 11, 201114 yr I f***ing love it for some reason! Heard it last week, didn't really think anyone else heard it all that much.
July 11, 201114 yr This is really terrible. I'd probably rather listen to this than 'We No Speak Americano', but that could very well change if radio gets hold of it. Give me Cher Lloyd, Jedward or Rebecca Black anyday.
July 11, 201114 yr I like this more than I should :/ Interested to know what they'll do with the UK radio edit :kink:
July 11, 201114 yr I like this more than I should :/ Interested to know what they'll do with the UK radio edit :kink: The UK radio edit really is a WHAT THE f*** moment of :manson: ness. Prepare yourself... AhPrOJBoMk8 Those warble noises are just HORRID. On another note, I'm actually starting to like this more now. It'd be an incredible instrumental. *.*
July 11, 201114 yr Author I hate the warble noises  They've ruined it for us  I much preferred the original censoring of the word f**k (the bleep). I hope this isn't the radio version
July 11, 201114 yr If they're releasing this then they should also release this gem: zMRzxPP8Hg0 The Spanish do bad so good.
July 11, 201114 yr this is amazing  so trashy and strange, but so much fun at the same time! the radio edit ruins it though, the beep is fine :( Edited July 11, 201114 yr by Chart Wizard
August 1, 201113 yr Author This thread needs a bump as we now have a release date :music:  :w00t: :yahoo: :cheer: "Loca People-EP" is currently number 57 in the dance pre-order charts (not very high) but it's not released until 25 September 2011, so it has many weeks to big up pre-orders and hopefully become a hit And about the UK clean radio edit, the scratch/warble noises aren't there - they've just taken out the word 'f**k' from the song and replaced it with nothing (no beep, no noise) I am assuming it is very short, as when you preview it on iTunes you can only hear 30 seconds of it. The explicit version however is longer (90 second preview) Edited August 1, 201113 yr by danielMFAO
August 1, 201113 yr Woo :cheer: Big hit please! The annoying radio edit isn't great but behind every dance hit is a crap UK radio edit!
August 1, 201113 yr Yes! :D So glad it's getting a UK release date! I reckon it could become a reasonable sized hit now!
August 1, 201113 yr Meeeh. Not a fan at all. I want proper dance music to make a comeback, hopefully with a melody attatched to it. It's definitely one of the biggest hits of the moment though
August 3, 201113 yr Meeeh. Not a fan at all. I want proper dance music to make a comeback, hopefully with a melody attatched to it. I agree. I long for the days of real dance music to come back to us.
