Waka Waka is up to 98! It's having a great run considering it was released a year ago!
Yeah, I was joking.

Yeah. It's video was finally released a few weeks ago I think. I was thinking there wasn't going to be any more singles from the album since No Love didn't do very well (in the US, it actually charted higher on the album's release week from cherry-pickings than it did when released as a single after being sent to radio and being given a music video a few months later, which is quite dreadful when you think about it! :o).

Not sure if now was a good time to release it though, since it's clashing with the two Bad Meets Evil singles.

indeed, although if its good enough it should climb the chart.wonder if the videos good enough to get it to the top of the video chart??radio 1 airplay could help it go top 40 if they alist it.....great song froma great album...also talkin to myself should be released - cracking song!!

Call You Girlfriend now at 101! COME ON ROBYN!

I Wanna Go up to 88...

Edit: CYG up to 98! Officially top 100!

Beyonces run is amazing! Considering most people thought it would fall dramatically following the Glastonbury spike. She is performing fantastically. It's great to see a decent song with real lyrics so high for a change.

Also the criticism I have read about her Cellulite from someone in this thread. F off. Seriously how disturbing and disgusting to judge someone on this. Women get it, deal with it. She is flawless! :)

I really hope Britney can rise, I hope she doesn't flop with "I Wanna Go" it's fantastic and the video is fabulous!

I'm also warming to The Wanted new single, it's actually quite good and sounds brilliant on the radio. Better than any JLS $h!t anyday for me personally!

Hayzayy you should post in here all the time, so we can witness your incredible sig :kink:

I think it's better than Where Them Girls At, and worse than Who's That Chick? and Sweat.

I don't know why I'm telling you this though, as you probably hate all his songs anyway, so it doesn't make a difference what the song actually sounds like.

No, I like Who's That Chick and a few others, just wondering if it were as bad as Where Them Girls At :P

Random comments on some top 100 movements... (gooddelta take note of #96 :o)

 4. The A Team - Ed Sheeran

 5. How We Roll (feat. Tanya Lacey) - Loick Essien

Loick held #4 for longer than I expected. Looks like he may stay top 5 this week after all. But great to see Ed ahead again :D Ed was ahead in yesterday's mids anyway (and today's obviously)

 7. Bounce (Radio Edit) [feat. Kelis] - Calvin Harris

 8. Changed the Way You Kiss Me (Radio Edit) - Example

Well, that was... unexpected. Example is falling a bit too fast for my liking :( It was #1 just 10 days ago and is already down to #8.

 12. Set Fire to the Rain - ADELE

 13. Little Bad Girl (feat. Taio Cruz & Ludacris) - David Guetta

:D Hopefully SFTTR can get back to #11 soon. As Guetta is falling hopefully Coldplay can go up to #13 soon :D Fix You is still #37 too

 24. Pumped Up Kicks - Foster the People

Hopefully this will finally climb this week! But great longevity anyway, even if it doesn't climb. It's really good to see a non-established indie act have such a (relatively) successful single.

 44. Jar of Hearts - Christina Perri

Hopefully top 40 for this soon :D It's a really nice song.

 52. Still Life - The Horrors

Glad to see this not doing an UCOD/IYW. It probably could still have been a second top 40 hit for them if it was released last week but ah well, should hopefully be their second highest peaking single.

 69. Dog Days Are Over - Florence + The Machine

Hopefully this will pass the 400k mark soon-ish (45,276 to go as of the end of last week) :D Can't believe this only peaked at #23!

A few other newish songs in the lower top 100:

87. Young Guns (Full Version) - Lewi White

88. Hawaiian Air - Friendly Fires

89. I Wanna Go - Britney Spears

96. That Man - Caro Emerald (:o)

97. I'm On One (feat. Drake, Rick Ross & Lil Wayne) - DJ Khaled

98. Call Your Girlfriend - Robyn

99. Love You Like a Love Song - Selena Gomez & The Scene

Anyone know why Waka Waka (This Time For Africa) is back up to #100?

Some random comments;

44. Christina Perri 'Jar Of Hearts'

Why has this fallen  It was 42 a while ago, I'll be real annoyed if this doesn't make T40 in the next few days, as it's a very good, emotional song and it's different to most songs in the chart.

88. Friendly Fires 'Hawaiian Air'

A nice indie track, I prefer it to their first single, LTDT. 'Jump In The Pool' is still their best for me :D

98. Robyn 'Call Your Girlfriend'

Not her best track, but it's still good to see it not terribly flopping like a couple of days ago

Unless it suddenly blasts into the top 40 it can be considered as a flop at the moment.

True - but it was outside the T200 a few days ago, so getting T100 is at least a start ;)

robyn up to 94! really climbing now

Don't songs usually rapidly climb outside of the top 100 as there isn't exactly much pop bars to overcome is there?

88. Friendly Fires 'Hawaiian Air'

I agree it's far better than LTDT, which just sounded like an amalgamation of all their previous singles.

I also agree Jump In The Pool is their best, closely followed by Skeleton Boy :D Hawaiian Air is probably my third favourite of their singles.

Can't believe FF only have one top 40 hit. 'Kiss Of Life' was good but not anywhere near as good as their first 3 singles.

Come on Robyn and Caro Emerald! Neither are likely to go top 40 but I can dream can't I? :P

Robyn definitely will go top 40. If it's already top 100 on minor C-List rotation on R1...

-x-

Little Bad Girl back up to #12. Fix You back up one to #36 :D

42. Till I'm Gone (feat. Wiz Khalifa) - Tinie Tempah & Wiz Khalifa

61. Hitz - Chase & Status & Tinie Tempah

Go top 40 already

I'm surprised Hitz is still stalling as low as that actually, thought it'd be nearly top 40 or already there by now!

I'm sure Radio 1 playlisted 'Hang With Me' which was the first single off an unreleased album and held back, and that failed to go top 40. So I'm not too sure yet. I hope it does, but I'll still be surprised.
