I'm surprised Hitz is still stalling as low as that actually, thought it'd be nearly top 40 or already there by now!

Maybe because the single version hasn't been released and people like me love Tinie Tempah's chorus (which isn't on the album version)

But anyway, it is worrying that it's underperforming. Maybe if C&S didn't release 'Time' as the 3rd single :coffee:

Finally I Wanna Go is making decent progress, hopefully it could go top 40 after all :)
I'm sure Radio 1 playlisted 'Hang With Me' which was the first single off an unreleased album and held back, and that failed to go top 40. So I'm not too sure yet. I hope it does, but I'll still be surprised.

Hang With Me was already available on Body Talk Pt. 1 wasn't it? But anyway I think CYG will do far better than HWM.

I'm pretty sure that's not Tinie Tempah on the chorus. :P

If Hitz misses the top 40 I'm going to be really annoyed, especially as it seemed to be doing fairly well when it first entered the top 100 nearly a month ago... I still maintain Time was a terrible choice of fourth single.

It was as an acoustic version, but not the single version. I hope you're right, I think 'Call Your Girlfriend' is better than her last two singles.

YES for Robyn being top 100!

YES again for Scouting For Girls not going top 10, phew. They have actually not released one single good song, and I can say that just about all acts I disliked have released at least one...

I agree CYG is better than the two previous singles. The Feed Me remix of CYG is AMAZE.

I think the EP version featuring Tinie Tempah is released next week, I think that could get it top 40

Call Your Girlfriend is the best of the Body Talk singles so far imo, all are glorious but with CYG I get that amazing happy/sad feeling that few songs give you
'Call Your Girlfriend' is easily my favourite song of the year, I thought all hope was gone after what happened with her recently but I'm so pleased to see it going well. Looks like Radio 1 for once saw sense and playlisted based on the song itself.

The chorus isn't Tinie Tempah :o :o It sounds like him but it's different to his rapping style in the verses so I can believe you :P . And :banghead: @ me forgetting 'End Credits' - I said 'Time' was the 3rd single but it's actually 4th. There was such a long gap between EC and LYG! There was also a long gap between LYG and BF, although not as long as the first gap

Random comments on some top 100 movements... (gooddelta take note of #96 :o)

96. That Man - Caro Emerald (:o)

It's Radio 2 A-listed and features prominently on a Sky TV advert so I'm actually shocked it's not a little higher! Robyn's the pleasant surprise for me in the top 100!

The album version features Tinie Tempah as well :P The only difference is that the single version has a 'chorus' tacked on which completely ruins the whole song. And it's definitely not Tinie doing the chorus as it's clearly anothe person singing it in the video.

But yeah, hopefully it will go top 40 with the EP release...

AFAIA Radio 1 have playlisted everything by Robyn except Indestructible. So not really.

Hypest Hype wasn't really a single though. It never actually got released. It was just a hype track AFAIA (hence the title :P) and only peaked at #70 after the album's release.

How many times do you need to be told this? They ignored 'Indestructible' because of 'Hang With Me's flop, and after how that did it was looking incredibly bleak they'd ever bother with her again, and this is a total rarity.

I personally don't suspect R1 have snubbed an artist until they've refused to playlist 2 singles from them in a row, regardless of how big a flop their previous singles were. And as I said in the playlist thread I fully expected them to playlist CYG because I thought they'd snubbed Indestructible because of the song, not the artist.

Previous singles flopping is clearly not a major agenda on the R1 playlist anyway, at least for 'alternative' acts. And Robyn is fairly alternative as far as pop acts go.

I'm clearly just not as 'paranoid' (wrong word but you know what I mean) about the R1 playlist as most though...

Capital is the station that stops playing artists after they start flopping.

Good to see Britney in the top 100 now.

Also, Example has falled from #1 down to #8 in just over a week I think! :o That's similar to what The Club is Alive did.

Also, strangely enough, I've heard like Miami 2 Ibiza like 10 times on the radio in the past few days. And it's on a mixture of stations, not just one. I have no idea why, but it's also now #107 on iTunes! :o

It was #1 on the morning of last Sunday (10 days ago) before Louder took over. It is falling really fast :( But I wouldn't compare it to TCIA as this is occurring on Example's 5th/6th week after 4 weeks in the top 2 whereas JLS did it on their 2nd week. Plus Example was only #1 then because of his performance on Graham Norton and he didn't exactly have a massive lead, the fall would look much less severe if it never got back to #1.

That's true. Plus, the song has done incredibly well anyway. Even if it dropped out of the top 40 tommorrow, it's still been a huge success.

And I heard Ed Sheeran on Capital for the first time today! :o Now that they're supporting him, I think it'll give him more longevity and extra sales.
